You cannot run through the buildings. If that were the case I would be doing it EVERY TIME, believe me. It would be awesome. It takes several punches to knock a building down, and Hulk punches super slow in this game, so the video would be an hour.

I figured one could safely assume this 28 videos into the walkthrough.
