  • my comment earlier was for a different brand, nothing bad about this one

  • look at the dragon flyers, they can run you $32000,00 usd. Thats right Thirty two thousand. So these if they do ok are a deal

  • @lk1dare Not sure where you found a draganflyer for 32k but I see plenty of them for around 2-6 hundred dollars. Even fully loaded with autopilot and everything you are still only looking at maybe 2k. 32k would be one sick toy.

  • @AsylumET and so I take that back. Just saw the X8 for 24k but that included everything right down to a professional DSLR camera and base unit for FPV.

  • @AsylumET posted it to your channel

  • Nice video. I think I will test your hexacopter.

  • HI. Can you tell me where I can buy one of them? Thank you.

  • wow.....X650 Standar version =18-22 A, HEXAKOPTER this video 40 A, need much batree capacty

  • Ill buy one in 12 years when i become a doctor

  • @happyrichie agree with you. totaly insane money ? the price set to blow down. 1k for (details or equipment) other 10k. for the name and no "lot of people" could buy it. This product isn't for the mass. + gears + canon camera - here we have the new business.. buy operator with octoperator :-) .. sucks. but this is true. i'll buy 250 usd rc helicopter. - this price is normal for the stuff like this. - this is game toys.

  • @thespotmouse lol i still think about how good this is. just about to spend £2500 on cameras it should be cheeper than 1 high quality 3d camera let alone the price of 2-infinty, dont know what they are thinking, how many u sold? lmao!

  • @happyrichie i don't sold no one as i'm not seller. i could be octoopter customer if this system costs 1000, not 11k. so i buyed my trex for 500 usd + spend 250usd for video send/reveice and mounting for canon d60.

there is always alternative to "non-price-understanding" systems.

  • @thespotmouse post some video, I'd like to see how your inexpensive setup compares to this.

  • can i rent these things?

  • I'm looking to build one of these for my 5D/7D - good stuff :)

  • Can I design one of these for you guys?

  • @MI6CORPORAL ye most certainly can. how much will it cost me?

  • @webeskimo uhm, pay for parts? I have limited machining and assembly skills, though I have fully designed paintball markers before. The idea that I have is that the camera would be on a servo assembly (the Camera operator would be looking at a modified xbox or PS3 controller and you can pan and would feature an auto-center so you get level video when the helicopter is swivelling around.

  • @MI6CORPORAL looking at the frame of the helicopter in the video I think I could design a conversion kit around that exsisting helicopter

  • Use CFK centerplates and put wooden dowels in each arm to make it more stable in windy conditions.

  • NIce frame! and flight!

    Alex,

coptersky com (carbon hexa octo quadro frames)

  • I want to work with you soo bad.... do you need someone? I can pilot helis very well and like a lot manually works!

  • how easy are these things to fly??

  • outstanding stability guys, very well done :)

ps: is that your place of, eh "work"? lol

  • 12,000 dollars later.....

  • can you send your gyro settings, I'd like to try on my hexa to compare stabylity :)

  • hi jeff,

did you use the standard "hexakopter XL" frame or did you do any changes on the frame? i got this frame and am wondering how smooth and stable yours is flying. mine is "floundering" with the 5DmkII on board. can´t figure out if it´s the motors bringing up vibrations or the frame ... did you try outside maybe with a little wind?

  • @chockes I try not to fly in windy situtions with the multirotors if shooting video. I have seen a few xls with the aluminum arms flex too much with the MK center plates.

  • @jeffscholl Do you find that helicopters are more stable than multi-rotor in windy conditions? I'm a hobbyist thinking of trading my TREX 450 Sport for a Mikrokopter quad, but I'm near the ocean and it's windy almost every day.

  • Whats the name of this track?, love the vid and the music

  • @koolkiwikat Here We Go by Dispatch

  • how much flight time do you get with that set up....

Size of battery/s? and payload you have in this video?

Would a standard hexa lift it and how much flight time would be possible?

  • @rowdyjim Thatwas a 6000mah 4s. 5d is pretty much the limit for payload.

Standard mk hexa would have issues with this payload.

  • @jeffscholl what is the flight time with this setup?

  • @DoNotuseEbid We can get 9 minutes with a 6000 4s pack. I get around 20 minutes if I'm just carrying a GoPro.

  • @jeffscholl Thanks very much, I hope to get one within the next few months. I thought 5min was the flight time thats great news! ta

  • @ rowdyjim:

Since they don´t seem to answer to that part of your question: With this kind of payload, you should get a flight time of 12 to 18 minutes out of your Hexa XL (without payload, it can do around half an hour).

    Cheers, flyingmagiccarpet

  • @flyingmagiccarpet Cheers exactly the answer I was after , will be looking to purchase one in a months time!

  • scweettt

  • We well these at quadrocopter.us

  • @jeffscholl Sorry...We sell these at.....

  • Where it is possible to buy this miracle? Oktokopter??????????
