or you could just fish em lol fish them at a spot in hyjal and twilight highlands, respawns on the firepools that you fish from are about 15 minutes, which is about as long as it would take to fish all of them in both places and be able to start up again

I got more fishing then this. Volatile fires don't sell for shit anymore on my server 3g a piece.

BTW the drop rate is probably completely different now. Just go fish the fire up in front of the Firelands raid entrance. I usually grab close to 20 at a time thru the 4 pools of fire that show up. Respawn time is probably somewhere in the range of 10-20 minutes.

I'm pretty sure this area was nerfed because I've been here for about 20 minutes and killed about 60 guys and only got like 12 volatile fires. Not they dropped 12 times in stacks of 3...being 36, which would be good. I mean about 4 mobs out fo 60 have dropped fires.

@inflexble They still drop the same 1,2,3 volatile fire - At the same 15 percent drop rate. I am farming at this location as I write this. I will update this video with an annotation if things change.

@1337Wunderbaum That is not true. It takes months for a casual player to get high level gear and it won't be BiS. And since the raid lockout mechanic you only get so many (read: few) attempts at each boss per week. There are 25 people in a raid and only one gets the drop. Each boss drops 3 epics and there are 7 bosses in an instance. During the first months you are lucky if you can kill the first boss of that 7, but lets pretend we killed all 7. You need to fill 19 equipment slots with epics ...

@x3ICEx on 25 characters, but only have access to 21 epics each week. Even if the drops are optimal (which we know they aren't) it will take a guild (19*25)/21 = 22 weeks to gear up an entire guild. That is half a year!
