  • I've had my ST R for 2 years, done 26,000 km and never had any reliability problems. Great bike on road & track, would highly recommend.

  • @RicardoSS85 the lack of answers should tell you everything.....Good luck when it comes to px'ing your Monster for a Striple!!

  • The lack of answers actually says a lot about the Street Triple reliabilty;) I'm going with the Monster 796. Anyway, thanks!

  • there is also a 106 bhp model, right?

  • @wwfww No - the standard bike (2011 and 2012) is 105 bhp as listed. This video was created in 2008, so its not up to date.

  • @YarekBalear oh ok, thank you!

  • what is the difference between this and the not "r" version look the same have the same motor and brakes... why buy this???

  • @deojett It has different brakes and suspension than the normal version. the Daytona 675 has the same engine but is sport tuned so they gave the "R" version the daytona's brakes and suspension.

  • A little gem is so right. This is everything a bike should be.

  • i'm riding a Dorsoduro but this year i will get me a triumph street tripple r.

    i really love this bike!

  • I'm selling my Gladius and I really want a Street Triple. But I'm not sure about the reliability. Can anyone share some opinions? Thanks a lot.

  • @odracirseraoseia1999 I bought a brand new street 2 years ago.I just passed 12000 miles and it has never failed to start first time.Fantastic bike ....get one you'll love it.

  • i don't know how is moto market in yours country but in my there isn't many Triumph's, but i love that bikes uf i want it,Triumph have soul,i can't describe it its more then a bike

  • Can you skip the talking show at the beggining, I just want to see and hear when it start

  • why did'nt they make this bike everyones dream by putting an abs system???

this is the only thing i do not like about this diamond!!!

    i am in love...!!!

  • @SuperKawaz750 thank goodness they did not put abs on it, it's not what the bike is about.

  • I. WANT. ONE.

  • beautiful bike

  • I have had my street for a year now and love every minute of it great bike

  • it's actually 107 bhp not 96

  • @wwfww that's quoted at the crankshaft - 90 more like it at the rear wheel..

  • @wwfww

at the dyno about 91. The 107 is at the crank and typically optimistic as well.

  • forget a bandit, this is the fucking best!!!

  • i like motors tv reviews very good

phantom black street triple r on its way this week for me video soon

  • Did he die?

  • @mouse743 Like roasting weenie, right?

  • @mouse743 ahhah! priceless!

  • @mouse743 :S

  • @mouse743 looooooooooool! i just thought the same when i saw them

  • @mouse743 Ouchie!

  • i Love this bike but......................

that whistle sound is not to my taste sounds a lil nicer in high revs :) i would buy one if i had the money.x

  • @mmzwergnase Your Bandit is also a worthless piece of shit next to this. :)

  • @joshiscool1989 any bike is better than no bike, your attitude is counterproductive

  • @joshiscool1989 Hey man, sorry I know your comment was a whole year ago, but I need an honest opinion. I've been riding 250s for a while, and I wana get something bigger, and my first choice is the Triumph ST or STR. But the Bandit is significantly cheaper. Is the Triumph really worth the price difference, especially for a noob like me? I'm hoping you say YES OF COURSE lol

  • @BboyJoeyBoy Depends if you want to pay the premium for having a nice bike. The triple costs more in every way, outright, insurance, maintenance.. But they are just a nicer bike all together, they have more torque, better handling, sound better and just straight up look better. Test them both and find out.

  • @joshiscool1989 Hi, thank you for replying, I will do :) I can agree about the sound and looks so far, lol. Cheers and thanks again!

  • @joshiscool1989 i own a bandit and agree entirely with this statement lol

  • but its a bandit

  • the engine produces 106 NOT 96 hp

  • @HornoRiggy Maybe he meant at the wheel.

  • 106 at engine

    96 at rear wheel

  • no, the triumph (as every producer does) declares 10-15 hp more than the real ones....

  • six weeks i pick up my 2010 street triple r in phantom black with gold wheels.

Plus with a ton of add on can't wait.:-)

  • so did you get it? how do you like it?

I picked up my ducati s4r two weeks ago its awesom!

  • picked it up two weeks ago cant fault it love it to bits.

  • I totally agree, there are many riders out there, that would buy the Street Triple with ABS.

But Triumph sells many of them so they are not forced enough to develop an ABS.

    They should react immediately!

    :-/

In our days you can't argue anymore, an ABS system is too heavy or wouldn't fit on a sporty bike. This is nonsense.

Bike builders like KTM and Triumph should offer an optional ABS system for their bikes.

  • Bad investment.

ABS is a must have in a few years. This bike invites to agressive riding and ABS supports that. How about priorities, Triumph?

  • @MrBolhoed and when ABS is mandatory then we'll be looking at training wheels. Training riders properly beyond the legal minimum rather than removing responsibility would be progress.

  • Why did Triumph not have ABS brakes on these bikes?

  • Because ABS is heavy

  • Roll on my 21st : D

  • Is the riding position a LOT more comfortable than the Daytona 675? The daytona is great, but very bad for a commuter.

  • Tomorrow I got my Street!!!

  • I think he has his facts messed up, the arrow pipes are the Titanium ones and are lighter than stock! doh..

  • Do you know how much lighter they are then the standard cans?

  • Yes, I think it is the other way around, the titanium arrow cans are 4 kilos lighter than the oem

  • this bike rockz!!!! \,,/

  • One of the best-looking bikes out there right now, imo.

  • Comment removed

  • Why bad? What are his mistakes?

  • yea spot on.. why not?

  • I'm buying mine tomorrow!!!! SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! EEEEE!

  • got it?

  • nope! the deal fell threw because the dealership starting throwing in all these bullshit fees and such and I basically walked away. I ended up buying a Ducati Monster instead.

  • oh no! this is my dream bike...what was the ultimate 'price' after all their bullshit?

  • After it was all said and done, it would have cost me almost $15,000 in Canadian Dollars, not sure where you're from, but if you're not from Canada, then use a currency converter online so you'll get the picture.

  • mmmh this or a buell?

  • @icepray I tried xb12 long and a street triple. Went for the Triumph, more comfortable, cheaper insurance and better residuals if you ever have to part with it.

  • amazing bike

  • so will i. one day, this bike will be mine

  • I'm going to own one of these one day..

  • indeed. i give myself a year til i get it. i only fell in love with it today

  • I'll keep my R6.......OOOOOYYYAAA

  • Fairings are for pussys!

  • squid...

  • ONE OF THE BEST BIKES EVER!

  • The exhaust adds 4kgs? I didnt know Titatium was heaver then steel. Strange...

  • the stock exhausts are 4.8kg each , about 10kg both,

the Arrow titanium are about the half weight.

    about 5kg both

  • Titanium doesnt mean its made of it, just branding

  • this thing has power bursting out of its every orifice!!!!!!! nice to see us brits are still in the motorbike world where we belong!

  • im not a brit but i like your triumph bikes ;-)

  • its understandable we have been making bikes since time began lol we no how its done :-) im not german but i love BMW bikes :-) and cars for that matter.
