i like this truck, id get it as a second choice to my peterbilt if it were available int eh US. i have a question for our european truckers. is the lack of " long nose" trucks, due to cramped/tight roads? all i see there are cabovers

@yamahonkawazuki yes its due to smaller roads..thus by making more cabovers,its easier to deliver loadz in tight locations. but i must say..those long nose trucks of yourz are very impressive, and double diff axles

@lepresto well the tandem axles, allow for heavier loads,/ better distribution etc. BUT also hinder turning radius. a tradeoff to everything. i learned ona single axle truck. then got into a tandem. the single i loved cause it would turn like a car... ALMOST

@yamahonkawazuki ok right i see..so by an extra axle, turning is restricted then..but the tandem axles look so impressive, well so does the single axles with helpers hinder turning as well then??

@lepresto helpers well, help. they hinder somewhat. BUT the tradeoff is worth it. its not a drastic difference, but is a bit noticeable. but nothign a good driver cannot overcome

@sinntaler20 Es tut dem Motor nicht gut,wenn du jedes mal über 1700 Touren gehst. Warum glaubst ist es bei 2000 gelb gekennzeichnet?Weil es so toll für den Motor ist?Manchmal kann man ihn schon überziehen,aber nicht zu oft.Außerdem was bringts dir,außer 40 Liter Sprit verbrauch?

Sounds very much like scania v8. Is this mb with one turbo charger? because older 570 hp mercedes with 2-turbo chargers does not sound like this.

its the 16.4L, its a fairly new engine. i think the Bi-turbo was something like a 14L
