Maybe you didnt perform direct massacres in the middle east, but you certainly were paying for the massacres Israel was carrying out.
Its not a question of ethnicity, but of funding. Sure, Afghanistan had the trainingcamps. My point is you could foresee that an invasion would be futile. They just move the camps elsewhere, to places like Pakistan for example. Like I said, a small covert operation would have made more sense and less bloodshed.

Israel isn't massacring anyone. It's not the Israelis who are launching rockets, bus bombing, suicide bombing and talking about genocide or denying the holocaust.
Israel has every right to exist and defend itself.
The Palestinians are really just displaced Jordanians who've been abused by their own leaders and used as props.
If Israel had any balls, they'd just totally kick them out of the region and claim the land for themselves.

As for suicide bombing, that was pretty much kickstarted by Israel as well. The first acts of civilian violence for example were performed by a few crazy Israeli's shooting up Mosques back in the sixties.

And 'weakening the defense'? Against who, fundamentalist Muslims? There's no real defense against terrorism. The only ways to deflect agression from these people is to either retreat and hope for the best, or to try and whipe them all out, wich would be tricky since their majority is located in countries that are your allies, such as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Why was the Afghanistan war a complete joke? No everyone does not think so. It was where Bin Ladin was hiding and using the weak country to plan and launch attacks. We have not been attacked on US soil since.

As for the coup in Iran I know little details, except that the country went to shit as a result of it.
I explained a moment ago why I think the 'war on terror' is a farce, but you just ignore it and bring up 9/11 again, as if that compares to what happened in the middle east because of the US.

And 'bringing freedom and democracy to Iraq' would be fine. But the reality of the situation is that Bush first invaded Afghanistan in the name of '9/11' wich everyone knows is a complete joke, and then invades Iraq for equally dubious reasons.
And I'd really like to know exactly wich allies would be offended by apologies, since the Iraq invasion was condemned by the UN. Not to mention the atrocities involved.
