  • Hey guys the forbidden fruit was found on a tree not a vine, your argument is kinda shot down with the first line, unless the songwriter is severely confused

  • @brandnewtb

he used to be an alcoholist.. So there's a big chance he wrote the song while he was drunk. He actually said in a couple of interviews he wrote alot of songs while drunk. Maybe it just doesn't make sense?

  • @brandnewtb He's not confused he might of been drunk when he wrote this he was drunk when he wrote a LOT of their songs but they are all still awesome maybe you should listen to some more of their songs

  • @rocklee833 its what he thinks he said in his dear agony album he got matured so chill he was never drunk a drunk dude doesnt know where he stands ok so dont say that

  • @EvilRebel1395 Why is everybody talking about fucking Justin Bieber in general?

For one, that's gross and pedophilia if I remember his age correctly, and also wtf does he have to do with BB?

  • @OfficialIsaidRAWR Bieber's 17; that's technically legal for some. =P

As for what he has to do with Breaking Benjamin, exactly nothing; you raise a valid question.

  • Kinki song :))

  • thumbs up if you love Breaking Benjamin :D

  • such.an.underrated.band

  • Yes... for like the twenty thousandth time, it involves temptation, temptation was in adam and eve, thats the whole base of the damn story.... Shit dude. Ah, so it's not supposed to be looked into as you said, yet you still looked into it, I have to say you are very hypocritic.

  • i searched the word topless thinking this would pop up. nope,,,,,definently not -_-

  • i love your face just get away best lyrics evar

  • Just got kicked out of wallmart for drawing on a justin beiber Album with a sharpie

  • Unless ben tells me face to face that this song is not about adam and eve and proves me wrong on EVERY account... then i really don't give a shit this story matches 100%

  • @Unequipped5 no it dosen't because the song dosen't tell a story. the closest BB has come to tell a story is Diary of Jane and No Games which once again; dosn't show any kind of inspired-by-god-or-adam-and-eve-or-christianity...

  • @Avzzor Oh my fucking god dude.... Why? I seriously want to know... Why do you keep fighting it... I am not talking about the diary of jane, No games, Had enough, Polyamorous, or any other song by breaking benjamin, I am only talking about this one and the story of this one. No other song. Topless matches 100% with the story of adam and eve.... Topless matches 100% with the story of adam and eve.... Topless matches 100% with the story of adam and eve.... it's a fact about this song.. it's a fact

  • @Unequipped5 how can this song be about a story when it's not telling a story??? jesus...

  • @Avzzor I proved you wrong on that account.... do I really have to do it again?

  • @Unequipped5 you havent proved me wrong because according to the title of the song itself proves you wrong. Ben dosent put time into simple songs like this to make them about a story

  • @Avzzor The title of the song relates to Eve's first revelation, it also proves you wrong, so do the rest of the lyrics "following the story of Adam and Eve." And I can continue until the last second of this song, it fits dude, get it through your skull, none of the lyrics are changing, meaning it fits, it has fit, and will fit no matter what you say about it.

  • @Unequipped5 it can't it because the song is not about a story... Ben even said it?!

  • @Avzzor well we're not referring to Ben now are, we, it's the song that follows the story.

  • @Unequipped5 why not? Ben wrote it about temptation of women... why they all of the sudden without a reason make a song about somethign that no one gives a shit about. and how can it tell a story in two verses and one chores... it dosen't tell you anything except that it's based on feeling temptation to "Topless"...

  • @Avzzor Does it look like I fucking know? I mean really dude? I'm not him... And more importantly neither are you... The song follows the story, in the "two verses and one chores" it's not like it's a fucking rewrite of the story dumbass. And FUCKING YES!!!! I've never met anyone so stupid... It goes with topless as in women, but also In adam and eve... Coincidence that they go hand in fucking hand? How many more times do I have to prove u wrong before you actually listen to the song?

  • @Unequipped5 Yes I know but even HE said that the song is about "temptation" actually yes the second verse and the bridge is a re write of their old version of the song. the original second verse went "oh take your time, to be mine, for all time. saving your space, I'm open, wide open" you can even find that version here on YT. "Dumbass"? getting mad 'cause you think that anyone actually gives a shit about looking into songs that arent ment to be looked into? Nobody wants t hear songs about A&E

  • @Avzzor Ok, are you Ben... Are you Everyone.... Ben has said he keeps his lyrics vague on countless occasions... Maybe since the time they wrote the song, they decided to change, Why? I don't know, but this song doesnt say those lyrics or am I hearing wrong? And you're a dumbass because you keep fighting facts about what the song says, and it looks like I'm apparently not the only one who looks into the song hypocrite... Or did ben just tell u all that shit while you were sucking his dick...

  • @Unequipped5 No I am just the one that listens to what he says. He has also said that Topless is about temptation and Unknown Soldier is a politicall song as an exemple. "Facts"? The maker of the songs said that it wasent about Adam and Eve so how can your opinion about ti be a fact? I didnt look into it I just listned to the demos of it and looked at BB interiews. Coming with 12 year old kid comments is just imature and makes you sound stupid

  • @Avzzor Ok, then if you look at what he says then, with what I've told you you should have heard by now that it relates to the story... And "Facts" ON THE SONG not whatever the hell Ben said, because the fatc is not even he can prove that the song doesnt go with the story of A&E, no one can, it's whats embedded in the song.. Just like no one can prove that it's not about sex.... And looking at demos, and Interviews is looking into it... immature 12 year old just proved you wrong..

  • @Unequipped5 No. He still just says that it's about temptation, he dosent mention a story to it. Nothing is embedded in it, it's just a song about "Topless" "Temptation" as Ben and the title of it says. I was loooking into it 'cause I liked the band, duh

  • @Avzzor Yes... for like the twenty thousandth time, it involves temptation, temptation was in adam and eve, thats the whole base of the damn story.... Shit dude. Ah, so it's not supposed to be looked into as you said, yet you still looked into it, I have to say you are very hypocritic.

  • @Unequipped5 still it isent based of a story...Ben said "temptation of a girl"........ not any story. once again, your opinion is flawed. you also did 'cause in some weird way, you decided that it's about adam and eve

  • @Avzzor Ok. again the whole song is based on temptation, which is also the center of Adam and Eve. And the reason I came up with all this is that my school taught about Genesis for a day, and that was when I heard this song. Although I'm sure that's coincidence, I matched everything to the story. Meaning therefore it can be proven that evry aspect of this song relates to the temptation in the Adam and eve. My opinion is not flawed because I have facts to back it up.

  • @Unequipped5 there are no facts on your opinion because the MAKER of the song has self said that the song isn't about it!!!

  • @Avzzor Ok.... dude it doesnt matter what he said... Although I could bring up the 50 interviews in which he said he tries his hardest to keep the lyrics vague. It is the song we are looking up, you keep bringing up shit that "proves me wrong" yet none of it has to do with what the song says... Bring up anything from the song... anything, and I can prove to you how it relates to Adam and Eve... And FROM THE SONG!

  • @Unequipped5 it relates to Adam and Eve according to you, but still the song isn't about Adam and Eve or a story so you can't say that the song is about it 'cause the maker of the song has even said that it's not. so your opinion is just an opinion

  • @Avzzor The maker of the song said he tries his best to keep his lyrics vague. Fuck you, fuck me, while can mean sex, can also mean I hate you... Thats a fact, and vague. And show me an interview that tells me that this song does not relate at all to the story... You won't find one, because this notion can not be proved wrong, along with that it doesnt go with sex.

  • @Unequipped5 He said that this is about temptation. Do you have any idea of how many radio interiews Ben has done? Alot. And according to many people, hes a douche so good luck finding the right radio interiew. He has the story/meaning/point of a few of his songs actually...

  • @Avzzor Ok yeah, again.. The story of Adam and eve is based off temptation, all you're doing with that remark is proving me more correct. And ok other songs yes, but not this one, or obviously we would not be having this argument.

  • @Unequipped5 Also this song... It has nothing to do about Adam and Eve. Agan... that's your opinion

  • @Avzzor Bring up any lyrics from the song... ANY FUCKING LYRICS. And I'll prove that it matches 100 fucking percent to Adam and Eve... Do it.

  • @Unequipped5 you can make this song about anything...

  • @Avzzor And what is that called? keeping the lyrics vague... Fuckin hypocrite

  • @Unequipped5 "I love your face, just get away." shove your religion into that, idiot.

  • @Unequipped5 I think you're a total retard <3

  • how long were these two at it? :p jk peoples :] .. I looove Breaking Benjamin , got a problem then deeal :)

  • @BittenBabe1551 Just because I don't agree with him doesn't mean I don't love them... BB forever fuck yeah!

  • fuckin' great song..but the meaning is spetacular...so deep and sexy

this song explains very well how you feel when you desperately desire someone...and the sex became a destructive force..you want it..you NEED it.

''i'm on my knees..fuck you fuck me,,

and you what do think about?

  • @Misscandy881 I think breaking benjamin made multiple meanings into this song, if you look for it there's a tie to adam and eve, not necessarily sex, but just the story itself, its really amazing what they did to this song.

  • @Unequipped5 hmm... how can it not be about sex when it's title is Topless and he scream out "fuck me!" in the song

    yes it's about sex

  • @Avzzor It doesn't necessarily have to mean it in that way, people say "fuck my life" which doesn't necessarily mean they want someone to literally fuck their life. And if you're gonna go one about "I'm on my knees", people also get on their knees to pray, there can be multiple meanings to their songs. Like the diary of jane, without you, and wish I may, their sometimes hard to find but not impossible.

  • @Unequipped5 BB's meanings are sometimes very IN YOUR FACE like this song. look at the title if you don't belive me, the song is about the temptation of an 'Topless' woman.. this song has no spirutal praying crap about it, it's about wanting to get the pleasure of sex to himself.. Diary of Jane is about being desperate to be a part of Jane's life, Without you is about ben's granddad dying and I Wish I May is about abuse and leavign everything behind

  • @Avzzor "Jane" was one of the first translations for Jesus in the bible, the diary of jane, trying to be part of janes life, the diary being the bible... it kinda fits. And the title topless it represents how adam and eve became aware of their nudity, and was the firs awareness for them, when ben says "fuck you, fuck me" fuck you is when eve ate the fruit first exclaiming how could you go against his words, fuck me is when Adam realizes he also ate the same fruit which led them both to be aware

  • @Unequipped5 if you seriosuly think that then your an idiot

    BB aint an christina band

they don't give a shit about writing about Bible, God crap... Medicate, about sex and drugs, Wish I May, drugs and abuse, Polyamorous, sex with alot of women, Water, anger and coufusion leading to violence, Breakdown, drinking so much that the person almost dies, Believe, rape or abuse sthose are some prime exemples at BB songs that just show that they don't write about crap that you seam to be obssesed wit

  • @Avzzor I'm honestly like the last person to be obsessed, and the phobia album cover, does that not look like a religious twang to you? I'm only looking at the lyrics, and I could not agree with you more on the songs that you listed, but you have to look at all the songs, when you put all the albums together in order it tells a story. And especially dear agony has very religious lyrics. Unless you're ben burnley you will never know but I dont think the hidden meaning in topless was accidental

  • @Unequipped5 yes you are 'cause you seam to know a little bit to much about it and mixing it together with BB is just pathetic. the cover of Phobia is The Evil Angel which is an fictional caractere by Benjamin that first appered in Evil Angel and the cover. Dear Agony is about his hleath problems and his grand dad dying.. not anything reliigius and no... the Diary of Jane has NOTHING, christian about it.. it's about an fictional story about a girl named Jane, Topless is about Topless

  • @Avzzor Like I said, unless ur Ben Burnley, theres no way youll ever know but dont ignore other ideas Ive listened to breaking benjamin since saturate came out saturate is abt a sex and drug addiction we are not alone is about geting his life fucked up and people try helping him but he ignores almst all of it phobia is about geting help he was looking for but ment seling his soul to the devil dear agony is abt geting sick nd finding help in god regreting his decision but like I said no 1 wil knw

  • @Unequipped5 not anything you just said is true, "I follow you! you follow me!" there is nothing in those lyrics that suport your idea for exemple

  • @Avzzor try listening to the rest of hose lyrics for thatsong nimrod you might learn something. And besides why are you fighting with me, if you look at the lyrics closesly it relates xompletely with the story of adam and eve, if you look at it plainly it relates to sex and your theory, but I will spell it out if I have to Breaking benjamin does have double meanings in not only this song but many, even if you don't like it.

  • @Unequipped5 nimrod? yes they have double meaning but not any religius meaning or anything that has with god and christianity... it has one adam and eve line in it and that's "Fruit on the vine" and that line is just there as an metaphor for temptation, because thats what the song is about. the temptation of an woman that he is desperate to have. if you want christian crap listen to red, Kutless and Skillet and don't come to an heavy agressive song and starts whining about religus crap

  • @Avzzor Every line matches with the story in a chronological order, it's too much to say it's coincidence, mainly because I'm guessing it's not... And I''m not pulling this out of my ass whether you like it or not, EVERY LINE MATCHES and thats a fact, deal with it, and to tell u the truth, this is just a reteling of the story, theres no religious worship or crap as you call it, it just talks about the story it doesnt mean anything dear agony however is a different story but I'm not going there

  • @Unequipped5 I highly doubt that 'cause Ben was drunk when he wrote this song. And really BB doset write songs about Adam or Eve or anything related to the Bible.. They've said in interiews for exemples that So Cold is about the end of the world (inspired by 28 days later, Ben is an movie fan) Unknown Soldier is an political song about the war in Iraq or Afgan can't remember, Home is about The Wizard of Oz, Sooner or Later is about wanting to start from the beggining with a girl. No Adam and Eve

  • @Avzzor I like how you think you know so much about them, do you really think you're the only big fan in this world.... And you mention other songs, however not this one. "Fruit on the vine" you got that one, "you've got yours, and I've got mine" Adam and eve eventually both have the bitten fruit, "meat on your bones" satans temptation as a serpant for eve to eat the fruit, "They wont know" satan implying that no one will know of their sins. Does this not match?

  • @Unequipped5 I use to be a big fan and this is my favorite song by them. you made it match, it can match to a 10000 things.. and if it was about Adam and Eve I'm pretty damn sure that Ben would have said it in some interiew because if it is, your the only one that would have figured it out. Ben's meaning are often in the title of the songs or hidden very deeply, it's always easy to find out what the topic is but not the story/point. and most of the time Topless describes a girl without a top

  • @Avzzor If you're such a big fan, then you might have known that Ben reveals it many times that he tries to keep his lyrics vague, however of the vagueness when you match it to a story then it becomes pretty exact. You're right, it is a girl without a top, Eve found out she was topless as her first realization, it also matches to a story of a stripper, along with many things. And you do have to look deep to find this meaning which is proving exactly what you said, it could be about adam and eve.

  • @Unequipped5 Yes I know that.. but when looking at an album called Phobia with most of the songs being about depression, having a Phobia of loosing the things you love and anger I don't expect anything to be about Adam and Eve, aspecially not from a band that dosent give a shit about Adam and Eve or the Bible

  • @Avzzor Looking at the fact that you're not ben burnley, and that you've never met, him puts you in no factual position to say that, it's not like I have but it's pretty obvious something changed him for ben to stop drinking and shit. And yes! are you stupid? his is a depressing album with the title phobia, the story of adam and eve is betrayal and in no way cheery, if fucking fits! It fits with the album, the mood of the song, and the stuff that was going on at the time it was written...

  • @Unequipped5 no it dosent. the mood of the song is exiting, fast, and heavy... Adam and Eve is... well nothing. This song is written in 1998, before Saturate was made and at that time he still drank, and he still did under Phobia. that's why the song dosent fit so well in the album. it has an Saturate feel to it, and no, there is no way in heaven or hell that it's about adam and eve.. the song is about being desperate.. the stuff that was going on when it was written? nothing was going on

  • @Avzzor Ben is a genius and he knows which songs would fit where, that's exactly why he chose this album to put topless in, because it fits. And I've proven you wrong, and I'll do it again adam and eve, THE STORY, NOT THE RELIGION, fits into this song contemplating the album it was put in, the mood of the song again, it is fast, yes, it is not exciting, I have no idea where you got that from, and it is heavy. It doesnt matter what you say, the lyrics fit with the story, and everything else.

  • @Unequipped5 This song fits awfully in the album. Why? 'Cause this album deals with fear (not any damn adam and eve story). And the album that the song was suppose to be in was Saturate, but shomehow it wasent there. Exiting as in an intense way.. And no, the lyrics are a bunch of words about temptation. the song isent ment to anything more then an heavy rock song thats all about TOPLESS and what is topless women? TEMPTATION. the song would have no point if it was adam adam and eve

  • @Avzzor Ok dude, it just doesn't magically not happen to be in an album that was made in 2000, and especially since we are not alone is between saturate and phobia, it fits amazingly well with this album. And yes, temptaion, adam and eve has temptation, this song is about temptation, the lyrics match with the story, doesnt matter when it was written, even if it were in saturate, the lyrics would still match to the story, no matter what album it was in or whatever date it was made, period.

  • @Unequipped5 Yes because the song wasent alowd to be in Saturate or WANA for some reason... the song was suppused to be in Saturate together, the same thing happend with Ordinary Man, Lady Bug and Enjoy the Silence. The song fits poorly in with Phobia because the lyrics has nothing in common with the rest of the album. it's to heavy and to raw, and it has an Saturate feel to it. The song dosent follow any story, it's about temptation to TOPLESS, it has the same point to it to most of Saturate

  • @Avzzor Ok a lt ofsongs don't fit perfectly with albums, that happens with a lot of bands for different reasons, but this song's lyrics match exactly with the story of adam and eve, this song is about temptation, the lyrics match with the story, doesnt matter when it was written, even if it were in saturate, the lyrics would still match to the story, no matter what album it was in or whatever date it was made, period.

  • @Unequipped5 No they dosent. they fit with anything. They can be about exaclty anything... But by listening to song that has an heavy and agressive sound, is on an album dealing with Phobia's and being desperate and being written in the age where they mostly did songs about alcohol drugs and sex I highly doubt anyone would care to hear a song about Adam and Eve... aspecially from a band like BB

  • @Avzzor HAHA!!! wow dude so even though it was supposed to be in saturate, it still deals with phobias??? make up you're mind yeah... And no, it does not fit with everything, you say sex... its not that plain, yes it fits, but its more closely related to the story of adam and eve, and if no one cares about it how come the bible is the best selling book? And many people I know relate songs of BB to religion and deep meanings they have.Desperate&aggressive=adam&eve.

  • @Unequipped5 It's dealing with temptation of "Topless" woman... It aint following A STORY. It's just a song about being tempted to make love with a Topless girl. He even said it in that radio interiew he did. Unknown Soldier is politicall, Dance with the Devil is against his struggle with alcohol, You is about a girl and those are the songs he from Phobia he talked about

  • @Avzzor HA, I'd reeeeeally like to see that interview because ben constantly leaves out the true meanings of his songs, he tries to keep it vague, Vague: obscure: not clearly understood or expressed" Therefore this means it could be about sex, drugs alcohol, pretty much anything especially in this song. It also matches to adam and eve [there is no denying whatsofuckingever that the story of adam and eve matches this song"100 % in all ways]. It's not hard to understand...

  • @Unequipped5 you can proably find it. I found via a Facebook link. it's an radio interirew and they mostly talked about writing sober and songs from Dear Agony.

  • @Unequipped5 I mainly focuse on the tune/sound of the songs rather than the lyrics, that's why "Dear Agony" might be a little more "friendly" than the previous releases but I forgot to tell you something;BB's music is constructed in such way that the first second you feel all depressed and powerless then the next moment you just suddenly get filled with the pure nature of positive energy in most cases within their tracks so their latest release could be just a part of Ben's and the band's evolut

  • @bloodyrockfire Exactly, and thats why their my favorite band, amazing, simply amazing

  • @Unequipped5 exactly ;it's the hidden meaning of the first human's sin;might be

  • @Misscandy881 exactly

  • Love the solo!

  • hott

  • i love that one part: 1:57- 2:25!

  • eh.. i like every other BB song but not really this one... too repeative

  • @cyclonethefox132 let hadis desend opon your soul

  • @joemorrisette lol no

  • @cyclonethefox132 ,how do you not like this song

  • @joemorrisette err difference of opinion?

  • Nice ...... slix1991 have watched this video ... :P

  • @lizardkid237 Thumbs up if youre sick of everyone bringing up that faggot on every fucking song -_-

  • @Haushinka98 Kids will be kids bro.

  • @lizardkid237 That's unnecessary. And completely off topic.

  • "I'm on my knees fuck you fuck me."

    I love Breaking Benjamin.

    I love this song.

  • this song is for men, not little chicks like you

  • I love this song :).

    ähmm...

    correction:

    I love Breaking Benjamin ! <3

  • I'm confused how justin beiber and those fags get so many views when a bad ass song like this have 28k?

  • @jcraigj be proud to be against the majority. most people are stupid, if we are different it just means that this group is smarter than the majority group

  • i think the chorus would've sounded cooler if he didn't stop after saying the phrase

"I Love your face, just get away" you know what i mean? like he kept on going instead of saying "awaaaaay" sort of like keeping the flow going instead of stopping. i'm not saying it isn't cool the way it is, but im just saying.

  • @FallenAkicita I can honestly say i have never heard a song from you so until i do leave the songwriting to the proffesionals -k-

  • @Zachary72225 are you Lagging dude ?

  • I lovee this song . I hated it at first because I thought he dedicated it to his gf . But hey Benjamins still mine <3

  • Im On My Knees, Fuck You, Fuck Me.

    Sound good! :)

  • Seriously? Wtf are me and Avzzor getting thumbs down for? Putting our opinions on the songs, hey at least we found meanings not like some posers, as I may say, who talk so much shit about this song and have not the slightest clue on wtf it's about

  • @100Invest I have no idea what its about but I'm not the kind of person that listens to a song because they like the meaning of it, I'm the kind of person that just sucks all the different sounds I hear in the song right into my ear....

  • i dont care its an awsome song

  • This song is amazing :D

  • @yobytruk How the hell can you not see the title, it's above the screen, and it is said in the beginning.

  • @Yobytruk r u just dumb...its called topless

  • Lol, you have the lowest IQ ever dude.

  • are you special? How on earth did you manage to find this song without searching for it? Smart one.

  • hmm i wonder yobytruk

  • veeeeeeeeerrrry goood song

  • For everyone who doesn't know what this song means, I don't blame you it's a complicated message, It has to do with the garden of Eden in the bible. Fruit on the vine is the fruit Satan used to tempt Eve. You've got yours and I've got mine is when both Adam & Eve obviously have their fruit. Meat on your bones is what Satan also used to tempt eve. They won't know they won't know is another thing Satan used saying that God would not know. I love your face just get away is explaining how Adam
