  • Judo with kicks :D

  • Very nice work, guys. Good technique!

  • Read the news in October, 2002 - Gashuku (Kenyu-Ryu Karate Association Brazil) AKKB - ASSOCIAÇÃO KARATÊ KENYU-RYU BRASIL

With few participants, but to a very high technical level and with specific courses of Jiu-jitsu and karate (Daniel Sete Câmara) and Ki Breathing (Vail Mungai) and Special Techniques (Akio Yokoiama). The event was a complete success, like all others conducted by AKKB. See the photo illustrations at HISTÓRICO, on the bottom of the page at: wwwakkbcombr/

  • This was originally the reason for the pursuit of scientific approach to find a reasonable explanation for the facts above mentioned (Main subject here is the knowledge of fighting with empty hands) Conclusion: “As a sport activity Martial Arts aren't real” so only the military men know better this hidden truth. e.g. They’ll never smash the opponents throat, break a leg, neck bones or blind a fellow during a sport competition and of course just because It’s not a valid strategy.

  • Great stuff,I am Black Belt Koodokan, cross between Woodo and shotokan!

  • I don't care that people say it looks gay, well ye some of it does look gay. But get over it, the techniques are great. And really if you're kicking the shit out of someone. If you look gay it will only humiliate them even more

  • I broke someones arm by doing the arm bar:D

  • Nice solid training. I like

  • Form is solid but. Not fast enough, basically three vital body sections are exposed, without fast speed it can cause many problems in a none mirror match.martial arts is based on sprite and the fight not sport and show, trust me I practice over 5 styles since the age of six. And I won thousands of matches.

  • dislike jiu jiutsu and co in amerika, often so soft and only for show. and often without any tradition or spirit.

  • nice

  • I wish there was a real Jiu-Jitsu club in Krakow, Poland !!

I love this martial art, it's beautiful and so complex !!

  • @kataraktowiec u Nas jest ciężko znaleźć dobry klub :p

  • Good form!!! Nice vid.

  • that is all player omg :D

  • woow it seems pretty hard i didnt knew it was kind of this, i gotta start to this woow looks cool

  • yo dawg, i herd yo like ju jitsu, so i put a foot in yer foot so yo can kick while yo kick.

dont know why this is going through my head...

  • okay in 0:35-0:37 the blue man have a problem he can't finish the attak...

because the other man hold his hands

stop the video in 0:38, the blue man only needs to take his feet at the arm and push it away, right?^^

  • @kipnuggets1 then he leaves his face open and his arms will be easy to grab hold of

  • @XxModernDayRaiderxX nope^^, after he had pushed the arm of the white one away(look at his left arm, he is in the right position...)he can use a lever to finish the fight^^ i already tested it and it works well :D

  • mmmmm this is more properly "european jujutsu" than japanese jujutsu (looks like a blend of point karate and judo)...

even so, not bad at all

  • 0:30 he just did a nigga flip!

  • Look don't care what the two of you know or study. You two are not that small guys , I'm not picking a fight with you... Joking, will not pick a fight, But would love to learn that!

  • Beautifully done, fellows. Very nice presentation. Thank you, Japan. 、日本ありがとう

  • Comment removed

  • i could be wrong but this is more kodokan judo than ju-jitsu... apart from the kicks and the takedown to leg lock

  • Comment removed

  • Proper jitsu the mother art

  • looks like judo to me

  • im not to keen on bjj but ju jitsu very very nice

  • I do Muay Thai , Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Japanese Ju Jitsu and I Love it!!!!

  • since when IS JUDO + few leg locs = ju JItsu?????

Let me see:he had thrown Harai goshi +Tai otoshi+Ippon seoi Nage+Seoi Otoshi...two leg locs(banned i judo competition but allowed to practice).than he did a few karate kicks(Yoko Geri +Ushiro Mawari Geri)...And that stew of techniques renamed as

a JU JITSU????? You Tube realy suffer any fool with a camera...

  • @branicap ... Ju-Jitsu came first, it dates back over 2500 years. it is the grandfather martial art of karate, aikido, and JUDO (among many other martial arts). Jioro Kano, a master of Ju-Jitsu developed a new kind of Ju-Jitsu that would focus more on the sporting aspects of the art in 1882. He called this new style Judo.

I'm sure these aren't all the techniques that this particular dojo teaches, but in reality, everything is Ju-Jitsu.

    Train hard and God bless

  • this isnt really jiu jitsu, its more judo and combat!

  • @knash92293 Thats because its original japanese ju jitsu arguably one of the first forms of self defence, not ne-waza techniques ripped off as "brazilian jiu jitsu"

  • this is a good way to practice ju jitsu ;)

  • Very Nice!

  • that is jiu jitsu

  • jistu fighting is awesome

  • @slickjokes2 im doing it

  • "Jujitsu evolved among the samurai of feudal Japan as a method for defeating an armed and armored opponent without weapons. Due to the ineffectiveness of striking against an armored opponent, the most efficient methods for neutralizing an enemy took the form of pins, joint locks, and throws."

  • very athletic, however there is virtually no kuzushi (unbalancing) prior to the throws, the uke is just standing there, waiting to be thrown. this is my experience also in learning jujitsu, the throws were shown the same way...

  • Jujutsu gave birth to Karate...?

Karate came from Shaolin Wushu without any input from Jujutsu whatsoever..

  • @lordtains Incorrect...Different types of the old jujitsu schools influenced the different types of karate that developed in the modern era...Wushu most certainly influenced Okinawan karate but Wado Ryu is influenced by Shindo Yoshin Ryu...

  • So did Wado Ryu come from Okinawan Karate, which then was influenced by jujutsu?

I thank you for enlightening me and I am sorry to have shown ignorance in this case.

  • @lordtains Shindo Yoshin Ryu, a jujitsu, influenced Wado Ryu first, with the advent of Wushu style karates in the modern era, Wado Ryu also has Wushu influences but as secondary because of the historical order...Many of Wado Ryu's techniques are similar to Aikido and Judo because of the jujitsu influence...

  • @lordtains Definitely not showing your ignorance but your interest!!!!

  • Nice technique, they were "sharp"

  • I am curious if they teach yoko tobi geri in jujutsu I have'nt practiced it yet in the dojo

  • systema is where its at!

  • ph33ric: Judo was derived from Jiu Jitsu.

  • krav maga is really cool too

  • nice judo.

  • good thing he has a willing uke. He uses no balance breaking technique at all. would not work in a match against an unwilling opponent

  • I'm 5'5 when I learned jit nobody around could fuck with me.

  • im going 2 my jujitsu class in an hour i hope were sparing to night

  • haaha I practise fighting.. and I'm the youngest and the only girl in our club.. but I LOVE IT!

  • @KayleeSJonas Meh. Doesn't matter if you're a girl, Jujitsu beats strength as it focuses on leverage.

  • @ePiCsCenEzZ yup, that's why I like it..^^

  • @KayleeSJonas HMMM... so is it like jujitsu alone.. or other forms..?

  • @KayleeSJonas Oh me too! haha

I've gained a good level of respect from them after performing the best takedowns in the class XD

  • I wouldn't call this "ju jitsu" in the conservative sense: the demo overall is quite nice, the judo in particular (according to the Pride website, the tori was on the French national judo team). The high kicks definitely point to an origin outside of traditional jujitsu (the same page on Pride's site has citations of karate and kickboxing as his influences).

  • That cat in the blue gi is pretty nice with his techniques.

  • ju jitsu / ju jutsu is one of the oldest self devence sports know to men

  • but the best

  • yes it is !

  • nice video!!!!!

  • JUJUTSU (JUJITSU, IS THE FUCKIN SAME) IS FUCKIN' OLDER THAN JUDO AND AIKIDO AND MOST OF THE OTHER DISCIPLINES PRACTICED IN JAPAN...JUJUTSU WAS WHAT THE SAMURAIS USED TO DEFEND THEMSELVES (15, 16 century but the term was created until the 17 century)...

  • Notengamiedo is totally right fellas.... judo evolved from jujutsu....

  • if you learn properly taught karate it will contain throws and joint locking techniques from jujitsu. these were later transfered into taekwondo when the creater of TKD ( general choi) gained his 2nd dan in shotokan karate and mixed it with tekeyon to create TKD. many martial arts are connected

  • cont...

karate was then taught amoungst the okinawan community. okinawa remained under japanese control and the japanese adopted this okinawan style of fighting and called it karate so it fitted in more with japanese culture. the japanese then added more thechniques . jujitsu didnt give birth to karate but it did influence karate. the japanese adopted karate because it was very effective for unarmed combat. karate is really an okinawan art not japanese

  • karate was used by the okinawan warriors against the japanese samurai. when the samurai eventually invaded okinawa they made it illegal for the okinawans to carry weapons. so they used karate to defend thems selfs against the brutal samurai regime. the story goes that a respected samurai warrior tried to force himself onto an unarmed okinawan woman. a young okinawan soldier saw this and confrunted the samurai a fight broke out and the okinawan defeated the samurai using karate.

  • what u mean is ju-JITSU. but this IS Ju-Jutsu.

German Ju-Jutsu includes atemi, elbow techniques, kicks, knee strikes, throws, ground techniques (taken from Judo), various locks, pressure points, and armed techniques, among others, covering all distances. Training includes defense against multiple opponents.

  • oooh, I see...The fever has spread. First, Brazilian JJ. Now, German Jujutsu (what the fuck?) No way Jujutsu has taken techniques from Judo...JJ much older than Judo, at least 2 centuries between them. Actually...JJ was one of the budos that inspired Kano's Judo and Ueshiba's Aikido.

  • I really grow tired of the whole idea of different countries ju jutsu its a japanese martial art. Real ju jutsu is pretty damn brutal unlike its name, honestly the name brazilian ju jutsu sounds retarded to me.

  • good smooth movements and great balance, but this isn't ju-jutsu.

  • Great judoka and great karate-ka, but not jujutsu.

  • judo mixed with karate kicks & punches does not equal jujutsu.

  • Well, judo and karate(not sure about karate) came from jujutsu. This is just a small part of jujutsu but all those moves are in the pensum up to green I think. Theres no higher moves in this vid.

  • Judo & aikido are modern developments of jujutsu, but karatedo is not. Karate is an Okinawan martial art. Historically, Okinawa was a seperate soverign country independant of Japan. It was invaded by China & Japan several times, so cultural cross overs from both countries played a part in karate's formulation, but it is a sepearate entity. The physical principles and the majority of the techniques are sometimes, the same, but the teaching methodology is very different.

  • aikido??? it seemed i read somewhere that was an real old stuff. which they trained aside sword practice/ due to that some similarity in the form and the slashing way to attack when striking with a hand.....maybe i'm wrong.

  • Aikido's two main 'roots' are Daito Ryu JuJutsu and Kenjutsu (Sword Art), both of these styles are very old. Aikido is however a very young martial art.

  • ok thank you

  • i've found that aikido is more a art than a self defence(not saying that it wont help you in a dangerous situation), but i do feel that ju-jitsu has that rawer element of defending yourself and hurting the person who dares lay a finger on you

  • don't even doubt that, it's fact.

  • FAKE

  • haha pause it at 0:33 lol

  • Yes, Aikido and Judo branched out from Jujutsu. But not karate! Karate is originally from Okinawa which was not part of Japan before.

  • hah... you can tell they are NOT strikers... he's blocking that kick with his right hand, leaving that side completely open.

  • good jujutsu guys........to the point.... and I am diggin the soundtrack too.......Grooooovy

  • definitely not old-skl ju-jitsu, some variations in this vid, lyk some other people have said, probably judo...

  • nice vid, but it luks a lil more like judo than ju jitsu

  • THIS IS NOT 100% JIU JITSU.

  • Good demonstration.

  • I'd like to mention something; Karate was formed from Okinawan martial arts, whilst Jiu-Jitsu was created in Japan. Karate is based almost purely on strikes and blocks. They're unrelated forms of martial art. Correct on Judo and Aikido, though.

  • lol its from the japanish area thats all people really understand dont try and educate people who arent all that interested in finding out for themselves, or else you have to explain kendo, iaido, kyudo kenjitsu kyujitsu etc then things inside styles like taichi waza ne waza lol ill stop here

  • jjujutsu is very similar to aikido.

  • aikido is mainly derived from Daito-ryu aiki ju jutsu in which Morihei Ueshiba trained(amongst other schools of ju jutsu) so saying that aikido is similar to ju jutsu would make more sense. However there are so many schools of ju jutsu with some focusing more on striking while others in grappling, that saying ju jutsu is similar to aikido is too much of a generalization.

  • it really isnt bruv......

  • i wish they could slow their techniques even more

  • What is the name of leg-lock technique applied at 00:23 ?

  • calf crusher

  • man that tought me alot

  • Great, but jujitsu was born from chinese boxe, old karate, and other styles. Than developed into the judo shape.

  • What? :/

  • Everything comes from Chinese Kungfu. Look at Jujitsu & Karate. They got punches, kicks, grappling & wrestling. Chinese.

  • no jujitsu was first and from it come karate judo and aikido...kungfu have nothing to do with them

  • Obviously u didn't catch my joke. Have u ever watched Goodness Gracious Me? Eveerything comes from India.

  • Or they come from japanese they got punches, kicks, grappling & wrestling= jujutsu= japanese (ironic)

  • that was just amazing i mean the technique takes some times but its easy to do but with speed like that thats just years of experince

  • my sensi has thrown me higher and further and i'm 12 and a girl and 5'7 he's 5'5 it is not a big deal . team fury mma baby.

  • nice portrayal of throwing your opponent down been trying to find a few of those techniques

  • who the hell is teaching to block a high kick with one hand...

  • when performing a high kick, the one doing the kick looses speed because of uncoordination, or balance! if you do a high kick to a tall person, why wouldnt the person block with one hand? all it takes is just ONE HAND BECAUSE YOUR STRENGTH can overcome the person's kick!

  • If your fighting anyone that's done real muay thai and is flexible, blocking that kick is not advisable as it will probably result in an injury to the blocker.

  • Tell that to Wanderlei Silva or Mirko Cro-cop....

  • whahaha :P

  • 0:21 we have to learn that at Yellow belt :D! Just love that one.

  • man ur hip throws flow well good

  • This is highly choreographed demonstration match- Not what these lads would do in a real fight.

Most instructors will tell you to kick the attcker in the crotch annd RUN!

  • 'suasag' you are so true

  • How long does it take to learn jujitsu?

  • Depends how dumb or smart you are :)

  • 7 years or more depending on how fast you learn your art but there are thousands of different things you can learn so you will never master it.

  • judo is also very efective and simpler to learn than jui-jitsu.I like to think of it as elementary jui-jitsu. it is easy to practise in the dojo. if you like it then move on to full fledged jui-jitsu

  • to bryantjudoman i used to do judo but i quit coz its too competitive and sport orientated and i want to learn how to defend my self not win a compitition but i agree judo is extreemly afective im gonna start jujitsu tho

  • Gotta dig that 70's porn music.

  • im thinking of taking up a martial art. Could someone comment back on the most effective fighting that would apply to real life. wb please

  • I do jujitsu since 3 years and i can say that this is the most effective martial arts.because i've tryied some karate and taekwon do lessons and i saw it was incomplete. When i fought taekwondo fighters,it was so easy, they only used their legs and i just had to move, reach them and then throw...and in a real fight, people are always very close, and they often go to the ground, where jujitsu is very useful too.with jujitsu you can face every situations, punch, kick, throw, ground, armlock's ....

  • cheers mate

  • :) i feel the same

jujitsu is so practical and it is really affective.

  • Every martial art is good on the streets. Just need to pick a style ur comfy with. My style took a few years fer me to find. I do Goju ryu Karate and Traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Put them together and uv got a perfect defense mechanism against Muggers, attackers, Jerks and what not lol!! Another thing is that the Martial Arts teaches much more than self defense and kikk ass moves like focus and confidence. so yeh....

  • Just watch out for the hidden knife. And his mates round the corner!

  • shut the fuck up you dont do fucking martial arts

  • porn music

  • yeh lol. porn groove

  • lol

  • porno!! lol ur right m8

  • No, Judo comes from Jujutsu. Just as Kendo comes from Kenjutsu and Aikido comes from Aikijutsu. Stop with this "Jitsu" spelling.

  • monkey

  • more judoish

  • Thats cause Judo comes form Jujitsu.. everything you see in Judo is form Jujitsu

  • Well most modern forms of Jujitsu come from Judo (or Kano-ryu Jujitsu if you like). (Perhaps most obviously BJJ.)

  • the music kinda sounds like its from a porn movie.

  • hahaha lol it really does

  • lol oh and btw fellas no need 2 give me a thumbs down. it does sound a bit porny. i do jj btw

  • lol...not realy ud hear more of like bed spring noises

  • lol

  • esa musica!

  • Good flow from striking to throwing to submission. Sweet

  • Hmm, looked like kodokan judo and some karate. Not really jujitsu...

  • impressive

  • Bertrant Amoussou

Mon ancien professeur de Judo/Jujitsu à Pavillons s/s Bois

Un petit bout de mec (lol) grandiose !

    Longue vie à toi !

  • Damn Nice technique!

  • iv been doing ju jitsu since the age of 6 and im now 16 but my dojo is closing down does anyone have any recomendations of what martial art i should do next ? thank you

  • Stay on Ju Jitsu.

  • lol my father teaches but in la

  • beautful video of ju jitsu in its most pure and raw form. This is how it should be taught

  • Now THAT is Jujitsu how it's meant to be! You guys are skilled martial artists. I like the video and your demonstration!

  • hey man!, i think that youre style is very efective, continue training. Jujitsu is an excelent way.

  • why is it that every time martial arts are brought up some pussy from somewhere has to say "what i study is better" grow the fuck up and use what works

i work in a max security prison you use what the fuck will make sure you go home safe when your shift is over

  • all martial arts are cool... and healty..

  • well healthy to a point

  • does anyone actually know where that statistic of 99% of fights end up on the ground came from?... no shit they end up on the ground. you gotta fall to lose the fight and 99% of fights do have a loser. duuuh.

  • sweet!im just learning half this stuff still i just started 2 mnths ago lol but everyone says that half this stuff doesnt look like it would acctually hurt but it hurts so friggin much!

  • ther not rong, i got seven years under my belt (excuse the pun) an the simplest throw generally hurt the most

  • no martial art is better than another, brazilian ju jitsu is most likely the most street effective martial art i know of. 95% of all fights end up on the ground..and what is bjj all about? THE GROUND

  • aikido is better

  • B.S. You have no idea of what you are talking about. It´s like saying that yoga is better than Aikido.

The truth is in the streets or in MMA. And I don´t see many succesfull fighters in MMA that are primarily experts in Aikido. And in the streets, you don´t lose fights because you don´t fight. It´s like saying that the best warrior country is Switzerland because they never lost.

  • speaks just one.

  • Aikido can't be better because it's based FROM Jujitsu and Judo. Please read a book.

  • i do jujitsu an judo, i prefer JJ but i wouldnt say 1 is better than the other and that goes for all martial arts, its like saying what is better red or blue? people have preferances but no one iswrong to see it that way

  • that looks like it would hurt like a bitch!

  • haha it does...trust me
