Correct. RUF actually is separate from Porsche. RUF orders drivetrains and bodies from Porsche and from there they tune the hell out of it by adding their own line of performance mods. You have the option of purchasing a RUF right out or you can take your Porsche to a RUF dealer and have it "converted"....Yes it will be torn down to a bare frame.....better have the check book ready. I think Gemballa does the same thing...not sure about them though.

It depends. The Ruf RT12 can come with either 530bhp, 560bhp and 650bhp. It's not stated her what the bhp on this Ruf RT12 is.
