it's not a brake light but a rear fog light. They are mandatory in the EU and used only when the line of sight is below 50 meters.

They are a cosmetic option in Japan.

What would look better, is if the tips - were cut the same length as the rear facia's cut outs. and the same shape, but with a split in the middle of the muffler, sort of like the new porsche.....

NO IDEA WHO TEPS IS, never heard of them, but the noise it makes is just amazing. Swap the tips, and it be perfect!
