I am the reverse i appreciate the original series but find it bit dated. I am finding the new ones enjoyable. But in the end the world would be little less bright with out the Program.

I think that the problem is a generational gap. the younger viewers appreciate the newer episodes because they are geared more toward them, while the older viewers enjoy the older episodes because they are the shows that they grew up with.

Yes to extent i agree. I do like the freshness of the new ones. But i feel nostalgic over the older ones. But i do have specific fav and the new doctors seem to fall into line with the type i like.

I haven't really seen the older ones so i really can't comment on them, But there is nothing wrong with loving both the old and the new. That is the ideal sinario for a series like this. If the writing for the old shows is a brilliant as the new I'm sure I would love them. Write back. I love geeking out about this show.

My fav was Tom Baker. But everyone has a oppinion on that one. If you notice the age of the Dr's go down through the years. I guess we as a viewing audience don't like watching old people having fun. But must say the new ones and ill state that only doing one season each for the first two is a shame because i liked them all. I grew up watching from Jon Pertwee up. But have seen all the episodes of Dr Who over time. MM Get it over time. Maybe i have a Tardis.

the new doctor who is okay but i see it as a totally different show. i mean now the doctor is going around kissing hot chicks and looks very young and eccentric. but the classic series was by far the best. and the doctor was an old, wise, cool guy which is good

That was me! Steve The Dalek is the more inert of the 2 Daleks in this clip. STD has now retired but his replacement is taking shape in the garage even as we speak. Should be at Expo again in a couple of months!
