i'm so confused omg. can someone please explain the entire movie to me? what happened in the first story? do the two stories have any relation to each other, or are they completely separate? why did Faye go to the police officer's apartment so much? who was the woman in the blonde wig? was she he same woman who was shown making out with the white man?
I like this movie but I'm just so confused as to what is actually happening. someone please explain?
I like the second half of the movie. I like the odd but subtle play / dialog between Tony Leung and his 2 girlfriends. The movie is not as romantic and dramatic as the Jewish Hollywood romantic comedies. But the screenplay / director Wong Kar-Wai has his own exquisite touch. RESPECT !

I love both parts as well, but im sure most ppl will remember Chungking Express for the second story. The first one wasn't nearly as good but it had something building up. It made you wanna know what happened b/w the cop and the drug dealer. Im sure it would have been just as good if it had more time to develop. Lastly, the trailer is not a good representation of the movie. I've seen the trailer couple years ago and thought i wouldn't like the movie, but now, it's one of the best movie ive seen.
hahaha, i love how she drew a boarding pass on a piece of tissue paper as a replacement for the lost boarding pass, that was brilliant! i still don't get how she ended up becoming the stewardess instead tho and how would Tony not realised that she had been in his house all along
