@mrbrianmoran Personal cultivation is also a time consuming activity which the individual needs to first see its importance, and then invest time and effort. Its not hard for anyone to know if a movement has good intentions and motivations to inspire people to participate in it. IMHO, you do not exactly need enlightenment to come up with solutions to global problems, enlightenment just aligns you internally to make one a more "motivated" individual to contribute towards a better society.
