  • I love beats like this. With it, the lyricist can spit and I can follow where he's going with it.. None of that garbled mess they got going on right now.. I can groove to this... Skipping down the avenue, windows half down, sunroof open, kickin that flava.....!

  • the end of the song to the dopest to me

  • of course his most beautiful beat ever cannot be titled.... amazing

  • with the StereoLab influence... I love it!

  • Dilla kills this X 10!

  • O.M.G. I was looking for this song for the longest time...all the hairs on my body are standing up, absolutely amazing...best.beat.ever....

  • r.i.p. they left a lot of jewels

  • At 40 yrs old I've witness the birth, growth and evolution of hip-hop. I hate making blanket statements, but 90% of today's is music straight-up bullsh!t. This track is bangin' and is what true hip-hop is about. It kinda reminds me of A Tribe Called Quests "Word Play", loved that album.

  • 1 of the best beats I ever heard

  • ive flipped this sample many times but damn..this knocks my version out by far

  • what a powerful beat!!!!

  • SOUL POWER!!This joint is just bliss especially the way it ends camly and leaves u at peace :)

  • This joint is just bliss...SOUL POWER!!

  • t3 raps the last verse thats why he says t3 at the beginning . props for the rhyme scheme go to t3

  • HEAVEN ON EARTH ,THIS IS !!

  • Slum Village for real...

  • does any body know whats the name of the last beat at the end

  • @TayBreezyDaDon It's called Fantastic. It's part of this song !

  • 1 dislike? are you fuckin kidding me? snuff dat nigga

  • DRUM. MASTER!! YOU WILL NEVER HIT THE BEST. FAST OR SLOW..IT DOESN'T MATTER THO!!!

  • This song is intoxicating, i listen to it every time im upset and it completely changes my mood

  • The start of Dilla's verse was wild!

  • No chorus.... I love that SV did that so much. Honestly with the way Dilla made his beats you really didn't need a chorus.

  • "One of the musical priest we form the lyrical voltron..."

  • greatest hip hop combination of all time slum village and j dilla

  • @alexdelgiudice1 Dilla was part of slum village

  • @Nycetrees t3 and baatin and j dilla.....smartass

  • @alexdelgiudice1 exactly.... they were the three who made up the original group, then elzhii later became a apart.. what im sayin is that slum village meant dilla t3 and baatin.. it wasnt like baatin and t3 were seperate

  • @alexdelgiudice1 ur an idiot. thats what i just said....

  • All J Dilla beats and old slum village songs have the least dislike votes than any other video I've seen on youtube. I've heard it's because J Dilla was an extraterrestrial, born in some place not of this earth. I think most listeners can agree and that's because we hear this song and we blast off into outer space and go into his world where the art of beat making was first discovered and it was presented to J Dilla to bring to our known world where we can enjoy the utopia of music he made.

  • "...soul power! It ignites like the sun! SV dominates the industry for fun!"

  • fan - tas - a - roll

    its that shhhhhhhhhh ayo!!

  • it truelly is FANTASTIC, XXXXXX

  • Cause its Fantastic.....

  • The best Hip Hop album of the 2000's.

    One love to S.V

  • @BlueMagicVaults This album was made in the 90s.

  • damn and RIP to Baatin what a verse son

  • Raw Slum Village, if you ever hear it.

  • Those drums sound so LIVE, like they were being played indivually by a hired drummer. BUT THERE NOT!!!!

  • Can't can't stop...can't can't quit

    can't can't....can't can't....

  • This album is one of the baddest albums to ever be produce real talk!!!

  • Here me out here...Honestly there are a lot of producers still puttin out good consisten music like Khrysis, 9th Wonder, Nottz, Madlib, Kanye etc. but Dilla Dawg...This man put out epic joints each time...and i think that was his whole mission...to put out classic, legendary, just boombastic claps consistently...Nobody does t that or has at least not in Dillas's capacity....this dude was in another galaxy!

  • the song is incredible the back round music is beautiful rip jay dee

  • This My ISSSH!

  • wow, and dilla killed it on his verse too...

  • mind blower!!!

  • real rap

  • Why do I keep rewinding it to the 3:00 mark.....

  • If this had those lo-fi dusty drums Dilla used on Fantastic Volume I, this would be one of my favourite DIlla beats of all time. Something about the drums takes something away for me.

  • i bump this for hours sometimes, like when im workin with my dad, gets me through the boring ass hours nicely. J DILLA WAS TRULY A GENIUS! RIP.

  • this song should have like a million views.

  • Thanks Dilla... needed that. God Bless

  • this is one of my favourite SV tracks, Baatin said he felt an eerie presence in the studio when they recorded it. And the beat after is a perfect example of the J dilla sound, very organic and smooth. I'll miss those guys. RIP Slum Village

  • Only 6,035 views, come on!

One of the greatest of SV and Dilla.

  • @twitayb hey it could be worse at least the video was posted this year im actually glad we have these views

  • str8 up tears!! 2 soldiers lost man...beauty track. UK 1

  • "Soul Power.... it ignites like the sun!"

    Baatin kilt this joint!

  • i forgot the sample!!!

  • Isit me, or is J Dilla's verse dope as hell? I aint sayin he one the greatest rappers ever, but he sure knew how to rhyme

  • anybody that thinks Dilla starts this just don't know Dilla

  • @djbloodshot haha right!

  • @djbloodshot fuhreal

  • You know we cant cant stop

    Cant cant quit....

    RIP DILLA AND BAATIN

  • Arguably one of Dilla's greatest verses... crazy rhyme scheme

  • @JonBlizzle2 yes...completely retarded. one of the illest ever to ride a beat (not just make one)

  • The 1st verse is T-3 not J-Dilla. Am I right?

  • 1st is T3 then Baatin then Dilla

  • Aite. Thanks man

  • first is dilla then baatin then T3

  • @goblazers456 T3 is first ..dilla is last homie.

  • @goblazers456 No. It starts with T3 and ends with Dilla

  • @HuggumsMcgehee THANK YOU!!!!!!! Why does EVERy lyrics page say its Dilla Batin then T3..... it's Batin T3 then Dilla in the end.

  • @bamhammer It's actually T3 then Baatin THEN Dilla (Dilla kills this track btw)

  • "SV dominates the industry for fun"!

  • @maadvillain1 One of my favorite lines of all hip-hop, along with "ever since I was a young boy, chillin in my daddy's nuts, all I'm thinking was a rhyme and dope cuts", the chorus to Look of Love and "You know what you need [to do]"

  • @maadvillain1 this is a great album should of been 5 stars and not four :)

  • just dope!!!
