i have got (two 26cm oscars they are a breeding pair 1 tiger, 1 albeno, 1 25cm flowerhorn, 1 17cm flowerhorn, 1 13cm jag, 1 12cm jack dempsey, 1 12cm peacock, 1 9cm arutius, 1 8cm red devil, 1 5cm red devil BUT THE OTHER DAY I HAD TO SEPERATE MY 25CM FLOWERHOR BECAUSE IT WAS SMASHING MY TIGER OSCAR so he is in a 29 gallon by him self and rest in 4FT 75 GALLON TANK any comment i will try a work out how to put a vedio on for you guys to see

tank size? two bala's would be cool (if you can get em around 3-4 inches because babies are hard to keep alive) you could also keep some clown loaches, african butterfly fish, etc.

alright cool. if you want... if you get a 30 gal to 55 gal you can make a nice planted tank and keep a schoal of exodon paradoxes.. they are like mini piranhas

about a year and a half to get em to 11 inches. with lots of swimming space, food and other bala sharks to swim with, they'll grow quite quickly.

uhm i think he was around 6 inches. when i sold both of em they were hitting the 11 inch mark.

i chose the zebra danios because i want a large school of small fish.

large school of small fish, eh? i say forget all the other fish and look into starting a live plant tank... and buy about 20 Exodon Paradoxus, they are probably the sickest fish to keep, they are like mini paranhas and they look really nice in a group.(check out some of the vids here on youtube :D)

i dont see why not. those fish stay pretty small. but instead of the zebra danios i would get like 8 giant danios. those are alot niceer

hey do you think a baby zig zag eel will do ok in an aquarium with regular gravel and a lot of hiding spaces or do they need sand?

yeah that should be fine... mine does well in gravel and thats why i built him a home with pvc. next month ima get a new tank and im going to use sand.

i know i really liked the barbs but they were getting wayy to big. lol i like my eel. not to scary, good thing he doesnt have sharp teeth.

yea hes improving in activity.. because before i had an artificial castle in there which was to small then he would always hide under my undergravel filter, so i took that out and now he loves the pvc piping :D
