  • Great design quality, Greg.

Keep up the good work and don't listen to the haters.

  • Hi mate. Great solution, ive reached the same conclusion :)

MTL is right though.. That is why he and you Greg need to look into the Zeitgeist Movement.

We have to work against the competetive system that generates the incentive for corruption, greed, scarcity, recklessness and so on. We have to have a hollistic approach. We start by declaring all the earths rescources as common heritage for ALL.

Please watch the documentary Zeitgeist Addendum

  • Hi Greg,

The only problem I see with your solution, besides the fact that CO2 levels are not a problem at all, is that Al Gore will not become a billionnaire using your solution.

  • Very progressive, Greg. Keep up your astounding work!

  • Co2 has been proven to not have any negative affect on the environment. It does NOT affect climate change at all. This has been scientifically proven. You could shut off all electricity for 30 years and it will only change co2 emmission by a 1/7 of what we supposedly 'need' in order to 'change the temperature' which affects the 'global warming' that is supposedly here. (Even though science has proven that the earth is COOLING.)

  • SO what is warmoing the Earth? Or are you saying the world is cooling down?

  • the earth isn't arming up, in fact, most scientists are leaning towads the beginnings of an ice age. we have had more absurd weather and tempertures colder than ever seen by human eyes for the last couple years. Think of this: how many times has it snowed in ARIZONA? it did, along with other weather patterns that support a theory of a global colding, while no factual evidence supports global warming at all. Rather the opposite.

  • people say the industrial revolution is what caused global wraming. However, by their own caalculations (those that are spreading 'global warming' it would take 33 years for every degree. seven degrees is needed to drastically change the world to what they claim we have done. 33x 7=231 2010-231 ... 1779!!! The U.S. was only 3 years old. I rather doubt the industrial revolution, electricity, or nuclear power, or any other insufficient theory supports the evidence. apparently they cant do math!!!

  • @warriorforthelight: Climate change is not the point. CO2 levels are definitely up nearly 40% since pre-industrial times. CO2 can be converted cyclically into the carbon resources that are now running out - eg food & fuel. That's the point.

  • geart vid you guys

  • Good luck in your campaign - I hope the message gets through :-)

    Dee

  • i couldn't agree more :D :D

    Let's go kids :D

  • What a great little video. The solution seems all so simple, why can't this be done.

  • If our govt wasn't so money hungry this would work.

  • hopefully our govt will recognise this as a wealth-generating opportunity to lead world recovery; Desert is worth £1/acre - acquire & reclaim it, becomes worth £millions/acre. Then there's the food, fuel, medecines, materials you can grow...

  • NUTRITION: Food will contain the algae fertiliser trace minerals, now stripped from our soils, coz we pipe sewage to sea & only replace growth elements (NPK). Western food grows big, but devoid of nutrition - or even toxic, as plants substitute elements (eg heavy metals) for the ones they really need.

Algae were the first lifeform. Living in the sea they contain every soluble mineral from the earth. They are at the start of the food chain - So they contain every element required for life.

  • Thank you for continuing to ask valid questions.

WATER: Ocean Thermal Energy Converters can kick the process off - They use the temperature differential at the top/bottom of the ocean and generate megawatts of electricity and megatons of fresh water per day. Then belts of coastal trees induce rainfall, & can be repeated indefinitely by belts inland. Agroforestry in-between can produce ethical biofuels, and highly nutritious mineral-rich foods

  • Wait i have another question. So you want to plant trees and plants in deserts yes? what about water and nutrition? i might of got your idea wrong lol XD

  • Hi - just posted 2 comments in answer to your questions: WATER & NUTRITION...

  • Hi - I am indeed a member, thank you!

  • Good BUT heres the problem won't our future populations need to use the deserts when over population eventually happens i like the idea but maybe if we found place to plant these trees this idea would be great. Or ban cutting down most trees? Oh the little boy in it i know him TOBYYY!

  • Hiya Josh! Interesting point. Harry Hart estimates current desert / unproductive / wasteland at 75% of the world's land. So even if we used a third of the deserts for pure agroforestry, that would still allow our population to triple to 21 billion. That's a lot of people! Also, plants and people can mingle in close proximity - we don't need to build towns as concrete jungles. Thanks for raising a very valid point.

  • IF you want to stop the war-ming, then you better watch where your money and energy is going. Green slaves happy to build new green railroads are always handy. Learn about plutology and boycott the big boys. I give you A* for the vid, nice play on worlds ;)

  • Awesome

  • Brilliant!
