well the p2 is an mp3 player so it isn't desgined for other stuff. Also in accelerometer is inaccurate in the ipod. I have both so I would know.

the samsung p2 is gonna be nicer looking and have more perks but if your all abt the amount of space you have then go for the 80 gig ipod im personally all samsung myself samsung phone and mp3 im abt to get the p2 it looks very nice and worth every penny but like i said if you need/want alot of space then go fo the ipod as samsung has yet to over 8gigs but when they do ipod is going out of business lol

The p2 would totally own only if it's ideas were original. Same price tag as the iPod touch and almost the same exact concept (and I find my iPod touch a little sexier than this) really hinders it. Samsung needs to take the step up and build the next new thing instead of following apple, for now, I like my touch way better.

Apple wasn't original with the iPhone. LG made the Prada phone, and then Apple decided to make one like that. And the iTouch came from the iPhone. Not much originality there, either. Samsung is original because they have bluetooth in this and you can actually use it as a phone pretty much. There's also e-books and a custom EQ. Samsung sound quality > Apple's sht quality.

Ya Apple products are crappy...but no worries just buy the 70$ waranty and your covered for...well not that long.

This mp3 is sick, just got one. It owns. There will be more features like the ability answer phone calls through the player, coming through a firmware update. Its also one of the few mp3 players with bluetooth too.

well for my an mp3 player needs to have great sound also...and ipod is out of the question, it's crap. the sound gets distortions at low volume witch means there's no filtering. the best sounding mp3 player i had was a creative zen microphoto, it actually had a sound processor.
