Dare I ask if either @JessontheRun or @cosmodrum marched that year? Bc I did. Frankly, Marty was old school and he didn't give a damn what the judges thought. And considering that most DCI judges at that time had never marched (and some of them weren't even musicians), he was right not to give a crap. Marty was hands down the best teacher I ever had. I learned more from him in that summer than all my other teachers/years combined. As for Prosperie, he was a good guy. Very innovative.
