  • i bet there are a bunch of lazies that would buy that

my mates paying me £20 to change his phone housing, when he cud do it himself for £7

  • 0:19 - Why the gloves? Are your hands more recognizable than your face? ;-)

  • @dexter20082001 this video is 6 months old. (And your reaction is 2 months old :D)

  • yes the gloves are a nice touch!

  • @Norahtksa9

Yep, The iPhone 4g feaures a larger lens and a flash for the usual camera at the rear of the phone

A lot of people Reading this comment won't be able to afford Apples latest iPhone, it's just going to cost alot

Luckily I learned on the Apple FB Fan Page last week they are giving away a few thousand iPhone 4gs. If your lazy, this is the link to Apples contest site copy and paste

    voomr。com/iphone4gfree295

And the registration code for the second page is FACEBOOK3111

  • Clearly those of you who think this is stupid do not understand. @mrhack636 chill man you don't know what it's doing. First of all it's not DFU mode, second of all, it is not jailbreaking the device, third of all, it is not cleaning or doing anything. All it is doing is turning on the iPhone, because the later MC models can not boot up after being jailbroken!

  • Where can I buy one? How much does it cost? Is it on Amazon?

  • Awesome! I want one!

  • A voir absolument sur youtube : Selektt festivity

Watch absolutely on youtube : Selektt festivity

  • Excellent work

  • Am I the only person that saw him show the phone with some blue apple wallpaper then just reboot the phone into DFU mode. Then supposedly "flash" the phone with this device then it goes back to the OS with same blue apple wallpaper.

This didn't prove anything other then you know howto put your device into DFU mode.

Lets see you update the OS showing the old OS version before then the new version after the flash to prove this thing actually works!

  • The reboot wasn't into DFU mode. DFU mode won't show a logo (the screen will be black).

Re: "flashing"...this isn't a jailbreak, and it doesn't flash anything. Its entire purpose is to get an already jailbroken (but tethered JB) device out of recovery mode (what you see after the reboot) and into normal mode. Which is exactly what the video shows.

  • @mrhack636 No man, you are not getting'it. This iPhone is one of the new models the "MC" model, with this iPhone/iPod, once you jailbreak you can't turn off/restart the device because you will lose the jailbreak and need the computer to bring it back. This device is handy because is a computerless alternative.

  • I want 2 right now!!!!!

  • the baterry its so big

  • I love dancing with myself, if you know what I mean!

  • That reflection looks familiar. ;)

  • where does it say its jailbroken, and whats so dificult about running blackrain ???

  • @esegre New bootroms needs tethered boot on each start. It's a computerless solution.

  • @TheIbreakit ya what ever this is a illegal marketing scam you can jailbreak the 5.9 bootrom just fine and you can also downgrade your baseband its called fuzzyband and it works on iphone os 4

  • @surflingo you can't downgrade the bootrom

  • @esegre if your on the go without a computer

  • what good is "only 3.1.2." ill pay $100 if you can make it work with 3.1.3 BB 5.9+

  • sorry, that was rude, i was just disapointed when I saw that it worked with 3.1.2 only. Hopefully you can crack the enigma that is 3.1.3 and the 5. baseband

  • Will this override the USB issues on ipt3?

  • 3.1.2? That's an obsolete FW!

What about 3.1.3 with baseband greater than 05.08.01?

What the iDongle do, anyone can do with a PC and blackra1n (or any other)

  • @CA3iR0 Right, because I'm always carrying my computer around just in case my iPod crashes and I need to rejailbreak.

  • 3.1.2 is the most compatible with jailbreaking tools.

  • wow! when is this released? where can i buy it from?

  • Awesome!! Hope this is a very successful venture. Like the video, too. In a few months we'll be asking if iDongle supports iPad and 3GS.

  • This is Awesome!

  • I need one of these because I jailrboke over 10 ipt 3g's at school nd they are too pussy's to re run blackra1n

  • will it work with the high version basband? how about 3.1.3 will this unlock it?if yes i would order 50pcs.

  • Please read. For now, 3.1.2 only !

  • you will earn a fortune ;)

  • AMAZING!

There are probably a lot of people interested in buying such a thing!

but will it also work with other firmwares?

I mean if there will be a tethered jailbreak for 3.1.3 (or later), will it still be possible to boot it?

  • CAN be upgraded.

  • fucking amazing! good work, guy ;)

  • This is the shit :) cant wait for this

  • how can i buy one of this dongle?

  • @nikkyred : wait for release, I'm raising funds for manufacturing...

  • yep... i suggest you to make a mailing list... i figure a lot of people is interested in this thing.

  • Mailing list sucks ;) Use tweeter :)

  • On reboot and after we use this device will all the applications/settings that we had on iphone will be as normal or it boots on clean state (hard reset) ?

  • No, it just boot your device. Nothing changed.

  • TheIbreakit .. you are the best .. but did this thing come 2 Saudi Arabia in middle east .. ??

  • Which software is it based on?

  • It's similar to blackRa1n payload.

  • @TheIbreakit do you need an industrial designer to create a decent housing around the pcb?

  • It should, but I have no extra money for this ! Naked is good too ? No?

  • @TheIbreakit well arent you afraid the pcb would damage after using it a while? especialy when putting it in and out of your pocket it could damage some components.. you should write a contest for someone to make a nice enclosure!

  • Will have a think !

  • @TheIbreakit but will make it more expensive though.. especially when you have to build moulds for it. But i'm sure there are people to help you out on this, just ask the crowds! are you on twitter?

  • too bad, the jailbreak takes too long!

  • @J0k3r444 : only 25 seconds ! The extra delay is due to reboot (blame Apple !)

  • How much is needed to get the ball rolling and start the manufacturing process

  • A minimum of 500-700EUR for parts supply and fixed costs (like PCB paste screens) and time sharing for manufacturing tools (automatic components placer).

  • good news thx

  • it would be useful for my ipod touch :D

  • why no use 9 or 10; 1.1 volt coin cell battery's? in fact i think they make a 9 volt coin cell but its the size of a half dollar

  • Because coin cell batteries can't supply the 120mA needed by iPhone/iPodTouch while communicating...

  • ah i see.. how many reboots can we get out of the 9 volt ?

  • Depending on battery strenght, 100 or more.

  • wow very nice.. thats very good considering a 9 volt has 625 mAh an AA should be capable of 500+ given they have a capacity of 2890 mAh

MN tweeted about this device so you should be getting TONs of people interested a backer or investor should be around the corner

  • But AA is 1.5v...

Since MN's tweet (@7am here !), my iPhone is ringing ;)

  • do you think it can be minimized in size, manufactured and distributed widely ?

  • Concerning the PCB size, I CAN do better, but I can't reduce the battery size. Smallest battery can't handle high current.

It was designed for being manufactured, but I need :

    1- Buyers

2- Funds for covering the fixed costs
