I remember this. I live in a mobile home in Justin, and went to my mom's house to get away. We were at Miguelito's and could hear the sirens in there.
Thanks for the info and I'll do some research on that. There was some rotation at first but it did seem to slow down and even stop. Also the weather service issued a tornado warning as dopler radar detected the rotation. In any case it was a very unusual sight!
hi, i am a weather spotter and i can conirm this is not a funnel. what you are seeing is a shelf cloud rom the side. a shelf cloud is a low hanging band of clouds. you can see it clearly in this video. they occour ahead of severe storms.when shelf could are viewed rom the side,they look like a funnel. you can see in video it is clearly not rotating. dont worry this feature can easily trick the untrained eye.
