Do you know the song that is playing in the scene when Carl returns home for the first time, (the house he "grew up" in), and he visits the shed where he slept, and then his father is sitting in the living room all crusty and dirty and what-not...I cannot find that song anywhere, it is not on the soundtrack...I can't even find out the name of it...Please help!:-P

I've actually never heard of this guy until i looked for songs from slingblade, pretty amazing shit! I'm a big Joe Satriani fan, the 2 of em are similar w/ the deepness in the music. Anyway awesome music.

this movie was great Billy bob is truely amazing in this film....Daniel Lanois is so talented . Not too many people out there can capture every human emotion with one piece of music. I can feel anger,sadness/sorrow joy,pride....seduction. Its amazing!!!

Hey man, Daniel Lanois has more heart, soul and vigor in this small piece than Yngwie has in an entire fucking album. I actually feel something in my chest, like where my fucking soul is hearing this shit. I hear ya KINgpimbobWTF. This soundtrack is amazing and the movie ain't taht bad.
