  • I think that this is played beautifully. I think its a great tempo. Its a great interpretation

  • Extremely good work, for a student! Through greater technical control and an understanding of the nature of musical structure, you'll soon be able to convey all the musical intensity which is within your very soul!

HINT: Seek the best piano teacher available! Also, seek the BEST piano tuner/technician you can find!

You have such promise, but it must be nurtured ideally, in order for your gifts to be fully realized.

Hint: "HEAR" every note BEFORE you play it, and LOVE EVERY NOTE!

  • Just wondering, do you say this kind of stuff to every pianist on YouTube? Is that why you called yourself yourpianoteacher??

  • Love it ;)) 5*

  • Just beautiful! (*^^*)

  • i dont think shes really a pianist.complete wrong tempo.Allegro appassionato not lento sentimentale.listen to grieg himself on youtube,he needs about half the time.

most interprets are trying to find the right charakter, but this is not possible at half tempo.

  • I think that you don't understand enough about music!

  • easy to give such an answer without explanation.what do you think about griegs recording here on youtube?its acomplete other piece, and when i listen to a composition im interested in the composition and not in the unconventional interpretation of any solist(exept its glenn gould, but thats an other case).

but i watched about 10 of your vids and you are great.

one question.why cant you play without sheet?

that means you dont know exactly what you have to play.

  • I like this performance better than Grieg's. I think the performer has some freedom to put the piece together and Annarita does an exceptional job. Why do you think you have to memorize a piece to know exactly how to play it? I've seen many poor memorized performances and many excellent performances looking at the sheet. A high-profile professional that I know told me she used to think the same way as you when she was younger but over the years she found that is not true.

  • Oh yeah,argerich68, you know a lot about music right? Although Achtelnote is a bit wrong about that little comment, but maybe to him/her playing without music sheets may be more better for him, more easier to express his feelings and thoughts.

totoro101, mind telling me who this high-profile professional is? Cause my teacher Shimon is quite respectable within the music community in Canada and HE says that playing without music sheets is much better. BOTH are good ways to play music.

  • That recording of Grieg playing is sped up, accidentally I think. And given that each struck note at the beginning is a quarter note, not a triplet eighth note, I'd say the tempo is just fine. In fact, it's much faster than the marked allegro.

  • Wonderful!

  • great interpretation!

  • Thanks for your comment! Are you a pianist? Best regards by Annarita
