  • sorry but Reyes looks like a lucky rookie than a professional, how he holds the cue ,limage and shots are looking over strong than needed.

  • check out the shot at 3:52... lucky? yes. extremely skillfull? absolutely yes

  • 9 ball 4 ever

  • q cuarto tan feo para una partida ...

  • wow that first shot attempt was ridiculous... who sees that!

  • reyes?? does he play 3 cushion too ?

  • no one expected efren to beat blomdahl. Efren is a real good 3 cushion player but blomdahl is the best player ever. Efren is not even a 3 cushion player, 3 cushion for him is like a hobby. Blomdahl wins at 9 ball too, because 9 ball is more a lucky game, break, fluke counts, ecc. If the game would be 8 ball i expect efren to win.

  • r u saying that there are no lucky shots in three cushions?

  • in 9 ball luck factor is much bigger. The break shot which is the most important shot is 60% luck, you have to be good to make a ball and to controll the cueball, but you must hope to have a clear shot on the next ball which is luck. Don't forget fluke counts and usually 9 ball has short race which means even the weaker player can win on a short race. I don't say 3 cushions has no luck. There are lucky shots but the luck factor has less importance in 3 cushions billiard.

  • @svnrf but whatever game, the playing feild is even - theyre both playing the same game! at the really high levels, the player who makes the fewest mistakes in any given match will usually win

  • This is like wtf... how can people do this or calculate the outcome of shots liek this... SKILL!

  • @TheRealEmskiHelp

9 times out of 10 it is practice, skill develops with time.

  • It's amazing.

  • yeah go ahead efren light up another one you stupid bastad

  • I dont care that much for reyes either,Yes,hes great, but hes also the luckiest player Ive ever seen, hes won so many times by his opponent fucking up,and giving it to him,and he makes more Hail Mary shots than anyone Ive ever seen.when your great, and you got all the luck in the world going your way,you get reyes, send him back to the phillipines, wher he belongs.

  • You should get a reality check and take your medicine more regularly...

  • @NAMTRIP Ive heard a very popular Golfer say,the more you practice, the luckier you become,so lets just say Im wrong,Reyes deserves all the respect hes earned,Im the dumb ass.For fuck sake, who hasnt he beaten??

  • Reyes usually wins because his opponent fucks up,hes the luckiest player Ive ever seen,he always gets every lucky break in the world,Yeah, sure hes great, but when your a great player, and youve got luck always coming your way,you end up with reyes, most every match Ive seen him in,he was getting beat bad, then his opponent fucks up 1 or 2 times, and gives the game to him, time after time,Ive seen Ralph Souquet beat him many times,Corey deuel also,Hes very overrated, but Im not saying hes no good.

  • @NAMTRIP the fact that they fuck up more than him says alot too...efren is the king!!!

  • @NAMTRIP I'd like to see you beat Efren on one pocket out of luck....He still wins tournaments in spite of his age and his eye, and just because you don't understand his shots mean that they're "hail marys'" he studies those shots from rookies..just like you

  • Blomdahl is 1 of the best players in the world.great

  • ahi se vio quien si es billarista y no payaso

  • One reason they only average 1 to 2 per inning is that they are also playing safeties on some shots along with trying to make the carom

  • Both world class players indeed. Although, I have to say, if you've seen these guys in true action. Neither are playing nearly as well as they would in top tier tournament play. The 9-ball segment was great too. Blomdahl is exceptional. A lot of people are ignorant to 3C. There is a tiny interview where Reyes talked about how he used to play 3C back in the day. He's pretty darn good at it. Ran neck and neck with Blomdahl for a good bit.

  • Comment removed

  • they were playing for money?

  • blomdahl won in both games , 8 ball and 3 cushion

  • is blomdahl any good at 8 or 9 ball?

  • I dont really watch 3-C, but this guy was beating efren pretty bad, is he some kind of 3-C champion, or efren just not very good at this game?

  • blomdahl was ranked number 1 in 3 cushion for a few years....one of the best players of all time. Considering the circumstances, reyes did o.k. The truth is no one expected him to beat him anyway

  • Blomdahl is a 15 time World Champion, probably the 2nd best all time behind Raymond Ceulemans. It might be safe to say He is a better 3C player than Efren is a 9 ball player. My dad talks about seeing Harold Worst play back in the day and he was great also.

  • Reyes did ok. A first class 3-c player average (caroms/innings) is 1, and it was reyes average indeed. But Blomdahl is really awesome. His average for this game (1.5) is below his level. It might be interesting for you to know that blomdahl has averaged over two, in 6 whole tournaments!

  • Forgive my ignorance. I've never played 3 cushion. In fact, I've never seen a 3 cushion table in my life. Anyway, I'm all for any game that will improve my pool skills. I was looking at Blomdahl's high run on another website and it said 24. Ceuleman's was 28. So 1.5 seems low. Like I said, I honestly don't know anything about it so I mean no disrespect. How is the average caroms/innings calculated?

  • Hi, The average of a player is preciselly calculated by the formula nr. caroms/nr. of innings. Of course the longest run of a player is much bigger than his average, but series (or runs) are great becuase they are exceptions. That´s why you look at the average to know how good is a player. It´s really difficult that in a whole tournament a player can keep it up to 2 -the best average in a single game is 5 or 5.5-. Some people say SangLee made 50 in 4 innings, but the history is not proved.

  • Thank you for your response. I'm a fan of any game that involves a cue and a pool table. I appreciate all skills. I'm from Texas. USA. I was in the Army for 8 yrs and have lived in a few different places in the US. I have never even seen a 3 cushion table. I once saw a snooker table in San Angelo Texas. Unfortunately, most Americans will never see either game first hand. I would love to try 3 cushion and snooker. The more games a person plays, the deadlier they become.
