  • Okay but whats the rwhp?

  • holyshit.. It turn RED.. this is scary

  • as soon as i saw the 2 step thing i was o shit turn it down

  • For those that don't know. Queen Street racing is the name of the company that build engines and cars for drag racing purposes. This is not a road setup up. This is a drag spec engine.

  • Check out the Exaust manifolds.

  • insane seeing the headers glow

  • Wonder how fast that turbine is spinning.

  • How much psi is needed to make that much power? 40?

  • Lol, where do they use this enigne?

Don't think internal parts will last very long at those operating conditions :P

  • omg look at that thing light on fire, im surprised it doesnt just com bust into flames that turbo is ment for at least a 6L engine???????

  • Thats a hot pipe:) lol these engines were put in arctic cat sleds during the 70's and the mufler/manifold often turned cherry red

  • goodbye exhaust gaskets

  • Sorry but can some one explain why those pipes catch on fire? don't know much about engines.

  • @NinjaBoyFuto exhaust pipes commonly reach 1600 degrees Fahrenheit in a normal vehicle going do the road. now lets do 8,000 rpm for a minute and now the temp is up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. If i need to explain more, just ask.

  • @ofspecialk so thats heating up that much? but when street racers go that fast why doesn't it explode?they even use N2o to get more speed and stuff

  • @NinjaBoyFuto because there not using 1700 horsepower tubocharged rotary engines spinning at around 10000 rpm

  • @chillmothafuka i see thanks.

  • FIRE

  • max power for only 10 seconds...bäh

  • 2:03 i think you have an exhaust leak

  • Would you like an engine with that turbo?

  • hey mr CVT meet mr boost..

  • Is this even feasible to put into a road vehicle?

  • @bordenwesley I can't speak to the roadability, but I can't imagine that it's life expectancy is very long before major maintenance is required. Plus adequate cooling and heat shielding would be a challenge. The RPM range is a whole other arguement....

  • @macgyver77777 True that!

  • Sweet! Where can I get one?

  • Who needs cylinders ?

  • you wouldnt believe how much fuel this thing would drink!

  • The manifold is in fire because the rotors want to show pistons how hot they are.

  • Put that turbo in my IS.. <3

  • When is the ringing in my ears supposed to stop

  • @OculiUbique thanks for the warning lol

  • Total cost $???

  • Holy! That's so badass!

I had my downpipe glowing after 1h fullthrottle with a modified Toyota 7M-GTE.

But that beast is just wow.

  • THE MANIFOLDS ARE GLOWING!!!!! THE MANIFOLDS ARE GLOWING!!!!!!!

  • @gingernator1 THE MANIFOLDS ON FIRE!!!!! THE MANIFOLDS ON FIRE!!!!!

  • @vctrsone it was a reference to a post of a Porsche 911 where the manifolds were actually glowing, the video of the guy recording it and screaming "THE MANIFOLDS ARE GLOWING!!!!! THE MANIFOLDS ARE GLOWING!!!!!" was originally posted on jalopnik. just search it here on youtube

  • sounds like an aircraft at the end.

  • @OculiUbique ststi fonsdigo!

  • wow.. "evil" does come to the mind....

  • @OculiUbique thanks for the heads-up!

  • What's the deal with that nasty 90 degree kink in the charged piping?

  • That turbo is insanity....

  • Japanese Mazda cars have high levels of Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which are highly dangerous and radioactive forms of nuclear radiation. This radiation is from Japan's recent nuclear disaster.

  • That turbos are huge

  • @OculiUbique HA mine still work my ears may be bleeding though....

  • two things, you remove that bend off the volute and replace it with something laminar you will probably gain 500+hpz, and i forgot how hot 2-strokes run, esp a rotary

  • @SlingSalsa A rotary aint a 2stroke dude, nothing like, just cause it fires more times per rev per cylinder/rotor than a 4 stroke does not make it a two stroke.

  • be careful you don't get sucked into that turbo

  • It's hard to explain how loud this sort of car is in real life. I experienced a 3 Turbo 3 rotor with a 2 ft exhaust redlining within 10 feet of me. When it redlined, I flinched from the sound. It's something you should definitely do before you die. The video's on my page.

  • hey your pipes got red hot

  • @Marshmallowrex Yeah, but would you beat the car it's going in ? Probably not...

  • Clean up on isle.. My pants

  • Methinks you need a cooing system for the exhaust on that monster...

  • 2.27 ....

    my ears are liquid now...

  • dear santa...

  • Alcohol +50psi+ dorito spinner engine=1600hp and 7sec 1/4.

Premix your rotary and it will last forever

  • All I have to say is... this is f'ing insane! What a monster. What are torque values looking like on it? Is that the 1100 measurement next to the HP measurement?

  • Put that in a go-kart.

  • @mAdAsZaC to kill somebody?

  • @mousy128 nope, for the epicness.

  • @mAdAsZaC Ok.

  • why is it catching on fire?

  • @EpicScandinavian It's not catching on fire. It's just... leaking. ;)

Rotaries have exceedingly high exhaust gas temps normally because of their design. Then figure in you're pumping in God knows how much boost to get it to 1500+ HP. All that air gets compressed in has to compress in the chamber, ignite, expand, and then muscle it's way out of a tiny (probably massive in this case) exhaust port, through a tube, and then be combined with the other exhausts and then shoved back in to the turbo.

  • Mazda Veryron ? lol

  • turbo lag must be insane with that.....

  • @samwiserich Rotary engines are known high RPM engines so Turbo lag is less of a problem from a sub 7+k V8.

  • @ecchibanzaii it may be less of a problem, but i can almost guarantee that it cant sustain 1600+ hp for to many

runs and secondly if you was to have that in a car and try to race someone. This thing would lose because of the

fact of it taking a good 5 seconds to build boost.

  • @samwiserich That 1600BHP wasn't meant for long runs.

The Le Mans 787B actually lowered the power so that it would be endurable, though it had high fuel consumption.

How to defeat turbo lag; keep a high RPM launch.

  • @samwiserich Seriously. Listen to how long it takes for the thing to spool up and how high they've gotta get it in the Rs before it spools.

  • How many RPM at full throtle ?

  • was that the exhaust pipe turning red?

  • @Vernichtungslager666 .......heat, see in an engine, there is ...nevermind

  • It looks as though the exhaust manifolds are getting very hot. I wonder, is this a characteristic particular to rotary engines, and why is this so? I can see them glowing in the video, and this is very alarming.

Many more questions I would ask, but wish not to try your patience.

  • @BigWhiteTurkey Glowing exhaust pipes are not unique to rotary engines. Take a look at some of these other videos.

If you you're working an engine, meaning it's under a heavy load, in this case the dyno, and especially when you're making full power and max RPMs and you do it long enough most header equipped engines, and even with cast iron manifolds, can get very hot like this. With about 1/3 of all the energy contained in the fuel being dumped into the exhaust system it's no surprise.

  • I WANT ONE

  • wtf haha omg i just nutted

  • @13SmokeAlot me too man me too

  • fukin stupid thumbs down

  • will it fit in a '56 Doblo?

  • I would love to see the Torque Curve for that beast.

I have had a couple of RX Mazdas (2 to be exact) and I know they need some help at low rpm.

Once you get above 2500 rpm they pull like mules.

I have seen a few Rotary Karts that seem to have more low end torque than what I expected (equal to most 2 strokes) so I know there is a trick to it.

    For the record:

Both of my Rotary engines failed at 50K miles.

Not a fluke..and the maintenance on both of them was flawless so that was not an issue.

  • Rotary engine sucks monkey dick lol

  • to all the stupid fucks that disliked this vid u are fucking mad and should not be alowed to be around a car,,,, to the creaters nice build,, most idiots would just stick with the 2 rotar and try this with it,,,, just watch ure exaust temps or get a titaninum exaust,,, u had ure glowing realy fast,,,, also whats ure red line 12g,,, thats also what they use in rolex sportcars,, 4-6 rotar engines, good job

  • Sounds like the turbo isn't spooling up until 6k rpm :) oh well, it's a rotary so no problem.

  • Ill take 2 thanks

  • Not as powerful as a EMD 710 engine lol

  • But will it blend?

  • it can beat the veyron?

  • rrr

  • that exhaust gets a lil hot... is this what 4 wankles and alot of money looks like

  • Comment removed

  • yo the turbo is as big as the engine!

  • it looks scary

  • this is qsr(queen street rotary) 26b+t engine built for their bmw drag car should check it out

  • Look at the wastegate! its almost as big as the turbo lol

  • Wankel engine

  • Look at that manafuald! EPIX (srry if i spelled it wrong, not Engrish:P)

  • listened on my 5.1 sistem turned to max...and lol sound like monster :O

  • omg...lol u could see the headers flaming up...crazy

  • 1600hps and 24 ft lbs of torque, ha. Just playin. That's pretty good for an airplane motor.

  • @jtmagicman25 isnt a airplane motor at all. mazda B787 use(s/d) this

  • @capiauken it's also not a real rotary, look it up.

  • @capiauken I believe it's called a radial engine. rotaries have a fixed crankshaft.

  • @jtmagicman25 could be right but why wuld mazda use the term ROTARY on all their engines of this type :D

  • @capiauken good question, they were invented in like the 70's. and they use an eccentric crank. nothing rotary except that the crank spins. kind of confusing. the rod is what creates torque. the Wankel motor really has no real torque. seeing as torque is usually at low rpms, rx7 falls on face at low rpms.

  • @jtmagicman25 i searched wiki found no real answer aswell :D

  • @capiauken there a good motor for a 6 speed, cause of no low rpm power. kind of like an indy motor. they're built for a smooth high rpm curve. I think of it like a air powered die grinder. powerful at high rpms, and will shred metal. but try to start from a stop and it won't do shit. it actually uses similar principles. that's why they are better suited for an airplane.

  • this is the engine of my car!! LOL

  • Jesus. Think that turbo is big enough? Im surprised it didn't blow the apex seals out the exhaust. XD

  • Poor Veyron

  • i will love to put that engine in a mazda miata

  • and to think these things were originally designed to be water pumps.

  • Fuck me gently.

  • that thing scared me it almost exploded

  • If you want to know why there are so many tornados in the world they are created by modified large turbos... honest ! ;0)

  • nice!

  • holy moses!!

  • I'm in love!

Was that as good for you as it was for me... wow!

  • I'm in love!

  • Insane!

  • dude... holy shit...

  • fake and gay

  • 2 step? more like one huge burst of fucking boost build

  • dan, had the shit glowin red, cudos

  • who put an engine on that turbo?

  • Worked on the rx ,2 rx3,rx7. I know this motor back then was going to be a great runner

  • Put that in a car....

  • Rotron engine?

  • heh i wanna put that in a lil bug n see how hard it is to keep it earthbound. :0)

  • put THAT in a fucking miata and seee what happens

  • 1:55 - If you look very (fucking very) closely, you can see the turbo change it's angle as the manifold starts to grow under all the heat. It looks like at least 5mm of deflection if you were to measure it.

  • that cant be healthy.

  • how many HP?

  • @varusi are you fucking stupid?

  • @jsrnash12

    nop, you?

  • @varusi YES YOU ARE IT SAYS IT IN THE VIDEO TITLE YOU STUPID FUCK

  • Ohh yes. Sorry @jsrnash12

  • @varusi yup, read the tittle??

  • Hogg Performance

  • big flame

  • Ok, engine - *check*

    Go-cart kit - *check*

  • What fuuck... !!! it needs an exorcism..!!

  • hope he does not race more than 3/4 mile on that engine. not being the 4th of july

  • fuk....insane....

  • you both are righty.. cam shafts have a centrifical force.. its newtoms law. an obect in motion remain at motion till a contradicting force acts upon it (friction, heat, gravity wat ever..0 but the bore and stroke also have a bid deal.. the longer the piston has to travel.. to more torque and power.. but its slower.. small stroke or no pistons.. well high rpm and alot of hp.. and on rotarys.. well there is no limit to rpm.. just as strong you make tha metals and how much you feed it..

  • You should probably do another run with no filter. That way you can suck in more dust particles and blow out the apex seals. Then VTEC would kick harder.

  • what a hell are he's do with engine

  • My balls are tingling.

  • continue continue, it appears to me the major issue is fuel economny and exhaust gasses. The EPA, ie assholes at the environmental protection agency is putting more and more restrictive limits on fuel consumption and emissions. That being the case, which are the car companies going to use? Simple. Reminds me of the small diesel Dodge made for one of their vehicals, was a jeep I believe. The EPA shelved it before they put a single engine in a car. They have all the power. We need to kill them LOL

  • Continue, if the rotary was "way better" as some put than the piston engine, why would car companys still be using piston engines? Think about it, they spend shitloads of money to test that stuff. If the rotary was so much better or was efficient enough, wouldn't everyone be using one? Think about it for a second. And yes, look how red the exhaust got before the turbo was completely spooled up. But exhasut will get red from a piston motor too. Sounds to me that the turbo is making the power.

  • Wow, lots of comments, mostly from little boys that have no clue as to what they're talking about. stupid comments like wow, that's a real vacuum cleaner..duh it would suck the floor right up. From what I've read, rotarys make better use of turbo boost than an approximatly equal piston job. But pound per pound, one realy doesn't out do the other. The rotary uses more fuel, expells more "bad stuff" and as the vid shows, makes a shitload of heat. yea, it would melt past 6 seconds. Great for racing

  • @jaded16340 Rotaries should not be built like this making 1000 hp, this is obviously meant for drag racing not actual circuit racing. Rotaries are very reliable that they are even used at 24 hour race like Le Mans, not a single rotary engine failed at 24 hour races.

And yes it does consume alot of fuel.

  • @inhuman216 but how dureble are they? 1000hours?

  • @soverato3 Im not really sure what you are getting at, are you going professional racing? Because that's the only reason why you would need that much reliability on your engine running nonstop for 1000 hours. If you are talking about daily driving and occasional racing then it is pretty much reliable. My cousin owns a 2004 rx8 and its still going strong over 100k miles. I only trust the opinion of what I can see. so Goodluck.

  • holy piss thats insane

  • Wrap those headers!!!..just a lil bit of gasvapor on it..and your car is toast

  • FIRE IN THE HOOOOOOLE...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jesus titty fucking christ!

  • Dear Santa.....

  • @bzmotoninja83 LOL

  • @bzmotoninja83 don't u mean dear satan with that hellish sound good thats insane

  • holy shit.

  • IN LOVE!!!!

  • That monster sounds like jet fighter :) AWSOME !

  • looks like an after burner..

  • You know you've got something serious when your wastegate has an oil line running to it!!!! I feel bad for that exhaust manifold!!

  • You know you've got something serious when your wastegate has an oil or water line running to it!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • that's some serious heat.

  • So how do you go about fixing that type of exhaust leak? Better gaskets? Stronger headers? Bolt? What?

  • @sntslilhlpr6601 weld even maybe :)

  • @mrrodneyalong

Fuckk meeee jesus christ hahaha xDD

  • and now we put that moster in my miata then i wake up

  • i dare you to touch the exhaust =D

  • i want this engine in my van xD

  • this turbo eats little kids

  • im gunna use that as a weed whacker and cut down my tree :D

  • @nathandugovic WHAT FUCKIN TREE DO YOU NEED SO MUCH ASS KICKIN FOR YOU CUTTIN DOWN RED WOOD TREES HEHEHE

  • how many rpms is that? probably over 12000 so itd have fuk all torque compared to the equivalent 4 stroke piston engine (generally twice the capacity of the rotary) which would rip that wankels head off and shit down its throat when installed in identical vehicles. no replacement for displacement
