  • I remeber when this Concert came out :D I love Sexy 8 Beat! missing Yoshie and Miki <3

    Genki+ is LOVE

  • By far one of my favorite songs out of them and this performance is amazing as well. LOVE IT!

  • @chunkyjustice in the cas of Morning Musume, however, two girls (Mari Yaguchi in 2005 and Miki Fujimoto in 2007) "left the group" due to boyfriend scandals (their contract does not allow them to have a boyfriend to keep up the "untouched pure idol" image). They did not recieve a graduation ceremony. In another case, a former MoMusu member (graduated from Morning Musume in 2004 to form a new duo with another girl) was fired from Hello! Project due to several scandals (underage smoking+boyfriend)

  • @chunkyjustice no no, she doesn't get fired :). In connection to Hello! Project, a graduation means just that a girl leaves the band (sometimes a girl also leaves Hello! Project at the same time, other just become soloists within Hello! Project or form a new band). These girls, who graduate from a band, get a graduation ceremony at a concert, usually at the end of a tour. The other members give them goodbye messages and the girl sings a final solo song.

  • @chunkyjustice I would never do that, but as I don't live in Japan and thus am not affected by the idol world (these girls are all called "idols/aidoru"), I can't really say that.

Especially at this group the girls are often between 12 and 15 years old when they come into the group. Currently the leader of the group is nearly 25 years old, she's going to graduate next month. The currently youngest member has just turned 13.

I think the parents know what they let the girls into.

  • @chunkyjustice Well, this goup is Morning Musume (translated "daughters of morning".

Directly related to them are the current groups °C-ute, Berryz Koubou and S/mileage because they are all at the same "organization" called Hello! Project. But you can also mention quite every other japanese girlgroup, especially AKB48 (they are currently EXTREMELY popular and their sales are breaking every record).

  • @chunkyjustice The age range of these girls at the time of this concert (spring 2007) was from 14 (2 girls) to 22 (2 girls).

They are dressed like that because they are used to outfits like these. This group (and the groups related to them) often use outfits like that for their concerts.

  • This is an amazing performance! <33

  • Why ai chan is away from the other momusu?

  • @Xxmyriam1212Xx because she hurt her leg the week before?

  • Amazing song~

BTW the guy yelling "sayu sayu sayu..." is really creepy...

  • This is what i want to hear from MM right now, better harmony in singing. Current MM does'nt have this anymore...

  • anyone know where i can watch the whole concert?

  • You can get it from the torrent tracker at hello-online [dot] org.

  • Miki-chan and Gaki-san have the best vocals.

    Tanakacchi is the hottest!!

    Yossie rocks!

    This song pwns.

  • i just love the first 46 seconds of this its so magical realli expecially when the lights come up and aichan is standing there looking like a goddess =]]]]

yeah this song realli shouldve been a single and i noticed that guy screaming sayu!!! LOL

and just to let peeps know if they dont already morning musume are gonna be doing a show in america for the anime expo convention yayyy!! eventhough i cant go =[[

  • Have you noticed that everytime Risa sings she smiles afterwards. That's why she rocks!!!!!

  • Momosu rocks forever! such a great song :D

  • this is AWESOME

  • wow Miki *0*

    nice singing

  • "さゆさゆ・・さゆ!"が気になる・・・

  • I love Risa's voice!

  • Que Cancion Mas ALUCINANTE esta cancion, tiene un sonido Traumante MORNING MUSUME lo mejor QUE HAY Y HABRA.

    Un saludo desde ¡BOLIVIA!.

  • Look at the audience. I'm always amazed at Japanese audience. They are so hardcore for their idols.

    I love this performance.

  • Kinda miss Yoshizawa-san and Mikitty-san =(

  • Buena cancion para comenzar un concierto.

  • I love this song!

  • damn i wish they would make a pv out of this already. this song is too good to left to do at a concert! and takahashi....damn....thats the kind of voice i like to hear!:D

  • Aw I hate it when really great songs only end up as album tracks instead of singles. This would have been an amazing single! Kinda like Berryz Sakura wa Rakusa... that would have made a great single too. This live was really great!

  • Fuck yeah! Ai Takahashi! =D

  • @Burnokkk YEAH AI.

  • whootwhoot momosu :D

  • yes yes yes!...best performance and my favorite song!...they should do more songs like this...you know like a lot of echoes not just unison...there's a lot of girls and they're all talented!..go gaki!!

  • sayu!sayu!sayu!sayu!sayu!sayu!

  • I am so glad my B*tch ex gf didn't Eff this cool song up for me!

  • This song is SO AWESOME LIVE!! Niigaki stands out to me! I really love her voice in this song!

  • I find it very creepy and slight disturbing that 3/4 of the audience are probably middle aged males. :/

    Lovely performance though.

  • sayu sayu sayu sayu!!!!-a person in the crowd kept on saying that. lol lol

  • why is Ai standing at the side?

  • She sprained her ankle during this tour. While it was healing, it was too risky for her to keep running up and down stairs, on and off-stage. So they had her stay on stage near that "musical note" chair, where she could sit down if she needed to.

  • aw poor Ai

  • so like this is a really large group then they kik peopel off? im confused please someone tell meh!

  • Some of the girls leave for other stuff, and they gain new members through auditions.

  • Pretty much every year they hold auditions for new people to join... then once new people join any old members (*normally* the oldest members of the group at the time) "graduate" to go onto other projects like solo careers or modelling. Understand?

  • yesh :) thanks!!!!...have they ever come to the U.S?

  • They've done fan club tours of Hawaii but I don't think they have actually gone to the mainland of US.

  • they came to LA this year

  • I have this DVD, i LOVE IT! :D Best concert ever from MM!! Lineup is changed since then though, Yossie and Mikitty are no longer with MM.

  • Dang how many girls are here in this group. If they try to make a girl group of this size in USA, I think it will fail due to individualistic nature of US culture.

  • Bingo.

Actually, there are only nine members here. Morning Musume has had a total of 25 members over the last ten years. They have auditions and "graduations" every year, so the line-up is always changing.

  • I want more Gaki goodness!!!

  • i just noticed they wear more flashy outfits then make up....that makes such a big difference ...i like it ^_^

  • LOL! Um no. My cousin's wife is Japanese, and while she rarely does a dramatic I am wearing makeup look she wears it everyday.

And so do all her friends. In fact when I went to Japan everywhere I went I saw someone doing makeup. In the bathrooms, on the train, sometimes even at the table @ restuarants.

  • That is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard on a video's comments. You can't say a nation wears less make up than another nation, there is absolutely no statistic for that. If anything, Japan's makeup industry is GIGANTIC in comparison to other countries. Actors, actresses, singers, TV idols and stars, they ALL wear make up, and it doesn't somehow "not apply to Japan because their skin is pure"

    That's complete crap!

  • I love this song! and I love that Risa has more than one solo line for once, she sounds great!

  • Now that Mikitty is no longer around... this means that Gaki-san probably has one of the best vocals in the group besides Ai-chan.

    Yea, she should sing more.

  • Risa TOTALLY pulled off all her lines. :)

  • definitely agree! :D GAKI FTW!

  • Is this supposed to be Yoshie's Graduation Concert?

  • Yes, I believe it is.

  • I'm sure she'll be missed by many. =(

  • Indeed. At least she seems to keep performing solo or with other singers. But she was one of my favorites in MoMusume :)

  • Yea, there's just something about her... like some kind of aura. She stands out in a different way from the rest.

Definitely hope she'll do well in future, be it solo or with other group.

  • love this performance and the song...

i love gaki in this video ... she's really into it XD

  • omg Love this!!..(love Reina!!!)..thnks for sharing^^

  • Great performance

lol @ the guy yelling "SAYU!" between songs throughout the concert.

  • Haha! I noticed that, too. Thats funny XD

  • This was an awesome performance, and I like the kikoeru part..

  • I love this song on the album

  • the new single came out yummmy do they look even junjun

  • wow, guess i have to buy the dvd b4 out of print!

  • My fave performance from the dvd for sure!

  • OMG THIS IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN! (i also have the album, so I gots the song on meh ipod ^o^)

  • This so could have been a single.

  • It was arguably the best and most popular track from the album, which I think is why they went with "Onna ni Sachi Are" for the next single. This may be the new, post-Yossie style of MM.

  • Yeah I agree, I love this style for them too!

  • *0* i love it!

  • Probably one of their best perf ever

  • wow.. yeah I agree.

    Amazing.

    (Gakisan daiskii!!!! )

Only 22 days for the new single ;)
