You had two months of practice less than me right I'm trying to play this but the harder version I only got like 23 bars well I got another 5 and a half pages to go hehe any way good luck and again nice playing sounds nice(-_-)
You play a simplified version of this piece, but it's really good. I have been practicing the original version for a while, but I can't match the emotion you put into it and I appreciate the fact that you make very few mistakes. Well done!
I'm at 3 months now and somehow this piece is my goal, I don't see it happening in the next coming 5 months though, so far jingle bells is even very hard :)
You play very well, but this must be a simpler version of the piece, I'm not sure if you're aware. Maybe you should try and challenge yourself by learning the original version, that way the piece will sound fuller.
Speaking from experience, I think think you are perfectly capable of learning the original. I've learnt the whole piece in two months of lessons and I'm only a Grade 1 or 2 - so, I'm a beginner and I'm very slow. If I can do it, you can!
Great showing off and all, and sorry for the hostility, but it sounds empty if you don't play the full chords. (I've been playing for 6 months so this isn't even a pro talking, but check out the original, I can send it if you don't have it.
Kudos for keeping at it, you are right, you re never to old and it's never too late. :D
Well, actually I don't think you played this right. The cords you're playing sound too simple to my ears. And, as you will discover when you check out how a professional pianist plays this part, the bass notes in the beginning are actually one octave below what you're playing. But you are a fairly good pianist, no doubt about it. Maybe you just got the wrong score or something.
Nice work...(where'd the one star come from??). Hey mossite, tip from a fellow adult learner- check out videos from "hughsung" (if you want to play clair de lune). Very expertly taught music from him, its unreal...he knows how to teach!
Just starting taking lessons, but I have my eyes on this one as one of my goals... fingers crossed

PS: make sure you press all the notes in the chord at the same time... :)
