First of all: he's got the "evolved" plane of the F/A-22A (raptor, if I'm not wrong), a plane that cannot be launched from a carrier.

Second: he's got unlimited ammo.

How? I dunno. No cheats have been relased for Ace Combat 5. Or maybe there are, but I don't waste my time looking for cheats for such a perfect game.

By the way, you noob, with the F/A-35C I get all the Yuke fleet destroyed even BEFORE the Osean appears (Ace mode).

But I Just got Ace Combat Zero like 3 weeks ago and I just finished getting all the planes, it was fun. Ace Combat Zero is a prequel to Ace 5, it takes place during the Belkan War which is the war that happened 15 years ago in Ace 5. I wish I had a 360 for Ace 6 though.

To change color, you have to beat the game once. this will give you the default Osean paint scheme and the Razgriz jet black paint scheme. Additional paint schemes can be obtained by shooting down named aces that are scattered throughout the game (note that these aces are ones that have no bearing on the storyline. they are just there)

As for getting the next plane, you have to fill up the plane kill bars which can be view at the start of every mission where you are choosing your planes.

It's been a while since I started a fresh game. I use my saved files to play but once you beat the game I think in ACE mode the free missions come up where you play them on all difficulty levels.

For the Falken destroy red/brown hangers

(on missions; 12A, 12B, 16A, 16B and 27. You'll hear this message, "Mechanical parts discovered, and destroyed facility. We'll have the ground forces retrieve them later." There's one hanger per mission.
