Webb Telescope even more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope

    As well as Rover

Restore American Exceptionalism as well in the Traditions of Apollo 11, and Chandra

  • NASA >WORLD.

  • That robot voice gives me the creeps

  • Since when did Duke Nukem, do voice overs for NASA?

  • JOIN THE FACEBOOK PAGE TO SAVE THE JWST !!!! facebook/savejwst

  • why is it takeing so much time to build ?

  • why are they sending it 1.5 million mills into the sun

  • nice to hear you, again optumus prime!

  • this is why sicince is my fav subject in school! it can tell in the past and the furture. i don't know why some people like math if they should be instered in this!also my fav show is sai-fi Doctor who:)

  • FFFFFFFF I am nerding the eff out over here.

  • this thing costs a shitload of money

  • It's sad that they have to make overly dramatic videos like this to make people pay attention.

  • 1:03 why does some of the most advanced technologies placed on an observatory look like testicles and penis?

  • phallic symbol.

  • where can i buy one?

  • Can it find the big G..?

    Doubt it hahaha

  • Awesome telescope *-*

  • now all we need is an orbit elevator and the ability to harness the power of the atom in quantum physics. Were on our way....... Who thinks suicide booths are our right?

  • J'ai hâte de le voir en fonction!

  • a lot of unnecessary special affects <.<

  • when exactly are they launching this in orbit?

  • No one knows exactly when, but it's supposed to be in 2014.

Being 4 years from now, the launch date is subject to change.

  • That looked like a friggin' car commercial!!!

"I'd pay fifty dollars for one!"

  • daym

  • Phenomenal! The potential of this beast is mind boggling.

  • Why not call it 'The Sarah Palin Telescope'? or 'The Going Rogue Scope...'? I mean c'mon.

  • Next time name it after a scientist not an administrator.... just saying.

  • THAT IS SO COOL O_O

  • Soo is this going to replace Hubble or what?

  • Once NASA and old scientists accepts the universe is electric we may be able to move ahead finally! I can't wait, it's going to be so cool.

  • Those simulations at the beginning are awesome, moar!

  • outstanding the future is

  • The universe is infinite, there is no beginning and there is no end.

  • NASA does some amazing and brilliant work.

I feel though that often the math is neglected in preference to glossy presentations, they do not reveal NASA's true value.

It need not take any more than putting a scale in the corner of videos, or some bars indicating temperature & other numbers people could note.

There needs to be some work done on making the math accessible in a user friendly way IMO.

It is rocket science, yet it is actually quite fun and easy, everybody should know it.

  • Anti Goauld defense

  • How it will be protected against dust and particles ???

  • MOAR INFO

  • Optimus Prime space telescope?

  • All space bound telescopes should be made connectible as array modules, this way we can make a space bound array telescope that would end up being miles across.

  • Why do I suddenly feel like I'm about to play the new Tom Clancy videogame?

  • i know what you eman

  • If you can read this text you dont need glasses...

  • ...Or, your glasses are working sufficiently...

  • @nishbrown Actually i was having fun with the Spaceballs quote, "If you can read this, you don't need glasses.".

  • Couldn't hear a bloody word thanks to the retarded music.

  • Anyone else who think that the "robot voice" just makes the video kind of corny?

  • Indeed, including the "digital readout sound effects". This telescope is already awesome enough by itself and doesn't need that forced "technological" decoration... which is... so last decades...

  • I agree.

  • Cant wait for this thing. So when is it being launched?>

  • more technical information would be nice

  • Only the first stars but no god? thats odd! ;)

  • nice cant wait its going to be awesome!
