1st of all, the Dems have a 59-41 edge in the Sen, but the Dems will only have 17 of the 59 seats up for re-election (about 25%) & all look safe.
On the other hand, it looks like the GOP will have 21 of the 41 seats up for election (about 50%) & about half of those are in danger.
And if the GOP as viewed as The Obstruction Party, it'll be worse.

That being said, I remember Dick Durbin and Pat Lahey both went on Sunday shows the week of Bush v. Gore and questioned the legitimacy of the ruling. There was nothing they could.

Sure, if you count all the illegal Acorn votes, and all the votes by illegal aliens. And once a vote has been cast, they cannot be pulled back. So illegals and Acorn workers were being told to get as many votes as possible because they knew they would hold.

I don't know about that. I mean I'm a dem and I support Obama but there are several Ideas on policy and proposals that I completely or in part disagree with. While I don't particualy like the republican Ideology I think I would respect there opposition if they offered a legitimate argument with actual facts and numbers to rebut and back up there case. As its stands now they have nothing to say and their Ideas fail to reflect the the majority of their constituency.
