  • boy listen to the chant of those two 567s workin. A beautiful sound!

  • Beautiful, love the High-Nose Units, plus the roof bell, very cool! Thanks!

  • Nice...Brings back memories....Should have never closed AOD...Wawa is in a death spiral now!

  • @copperheadmarine I bet it is. That's a shame! I did manage to catch a train or two coming and going to the harbor. Was a busy place at one time. Thanks for watching...

  • Nice work Jack!

  • Great video. Oba is about half way up the SOO sub right?

  • @LocalRailfan I would say that maybe Franz (the connection with CP) is a little more than half way. Oba is almost all the way, and just south of Hearst. The end of the ACR. At Hearst, it connects with the ONR out of Cochrane. The line use to be the CN Transcon line, but severed west of Hearst. Thanks for watching...

  • @LocalRailfan, 1jackdk Technically at Hawk Junction (mile 164.6) the line was split into the Soo sub (south part) and the Northern sub. So this video is not on the Soo sub at all (except that today CN runs the whole thing as the "Soo sub".)

So technically, this is taken a little north of the halfway point of the railway, but it's near the beginning of the Northern sub, not the Soo sub.

The train's destination, Oba is at mile 244.7. Hearst Jct., the end of the line, is mile 294.7

  • Nice!

  • That sounds absolutely beautiful! Awesome video as always
