I stumbled upon this video from watching the original El Tango de Roxanne but I just don't understand the greatness of Host club. I got through like eight or so episodes and it was all.. well every episode was exactly the same as the last. Is there a very climatic ending or something?

@JayFer As you get farther into the anime the story line becomes much more intense and you get an indepth view of the characters. The first few are more comedic but the later episodes have more meaning and depth to them and in my opinion the ending was very climatic with the last two or three episodes being the most intense and complex. I think the whole show was more based on character development though and the first eight or so episodes are a bit repetitive.
