Very nicely played. A bit slow in the beginning but you picked it up a bit faster as time went on. I loved it. Very nice Ovation Elite also. Most music always sounds better with an Ovation. This is first Edelweiss I heard on here with and electric Ovation. You used different cords than everyone else on here. I still love it and you did an awesome job. And 45 years of playing? That's Teriffic! I wish I could play as well as you can. Thanks for sharing, you did an awesome job.

Thank you for the info on the guitar. Very nice model but very expensive here in the US. Trying to find a used one i hope. Love the sound of it. How long have you been playing and did you learn this song from a book or sheet music?

This guitar is expensive in the UK too! I bought it new after trying out about 30 other guitars - it was the best one even though some were even more expensive. I've been playing for 45 years and I worked this piece out by ear based on my memories of singing it in school many years ago. Cheers, Alec

Thanks for that. The guitar is an Ovation Elite (model 6688, I think). I think the guitar was plugged into the PC directly for this recording (rather than through an amp). But I often use a tiny Vox DA5 amp with this guitar. It makes it sound absolutely superb and will run on mains AC or for 30 hours on a set of six 'C' batteries.

Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to say I have no idea how to do a tutorial. Everything you need to see and hear is already on the video. I suppose I could play it very slowly - but I don't do tab at all. It's standard tuning and nothing tricky or clever in the technique. Alec
