He doesnt put emphasis on the negatives.. yet hes still jacked... I dont get it. His upright rows seemed to carry a lot of momentum as well. Not hating, but seriously, if I were to do that I would see no gains.
@backsnaps1 I appreciate the call out-- I could have kept a more disciplined form. I strive to keep my elbows up--forming a "V" throughout the movement. I'll improve. Thanks.
@backsnaps1 I watched the Upright rows... Though it is true I could have dropped the weight for more negative control... As you will notice, the knees bent, not so I could piggyback on momentum, but so as to reduce the impact of the heavy weight coming down on my knees like an accordion. ;o) When I put lighter weight on the bar, I'm not as apt to bend knees on the negative motion. >>>YOUR ARE THE MAN!!! Please, please, keep the making great comments---THEY ARE OF GREAT VALUE!
@Proteincow Well, as long as it is working for you (which it obviously is) then keep going at it, normally I dont call out somebody's form if they already know what they were doing, its just that... If I were to do them like that, which I used to not pay attention to the negative, I would see no gains. I guess over years, you have developed that mind muscle connection better than I have.
@TheDonnBot TRUE!!! I love helping others based on my knowledge--- I don't profess to know everything, but what I have put to practice has shown effective. ;o)
@luimarco haha!! I will-- I'm having fun! I'm definitely not at your level of sculpting expertise--that is for SURE! We're hav'n fun and helping people learn and grow though!! ;o)
@luimarco dont u think that his angle of doing up right rows are in correct ... his back could get injured wit that much movement ... cause when ever u do an exercise LUI u always do it with the right angle and stuff ...
@arsalan522 well i never do Upright rows, i know though that bertil " brutal'' fox was also crticised fordoing them wrong. yet he had the best trapz and was injury free;)
@marksolstafir I have focused MUCH more on the Negative.. Mark knows what he's talking about---I have improved my muscle SWOLE---SOO>> much as a result! Thanks.
