Okay, i know everyone reading this is going to think I'm crazy but I saw Santa Clause!!!!!!!!! No joke! I was about 3 or 4 Christmas morning and my mom and dad were both in the house. While the mocap performances, being lifeless and plastic as they were, detach me from the movie, there's the impressive visuals elsewhere but it is Alan Silvestri's music ultimately that pulls my heart strings so effectively.

That's why I still have an emotional attachment to this film. The music has infinitely more human soul in it than the cgi characters in this.

Damn it why must this have motion-capture crap!!! I can't enjoy the movie as much as the music because I'm totally unattached to the humans by how unreal and plastic they look.

This song always makes me think of the amazing christmas' i spent with my family at my Grandmas house. We all used to make cookies then me and my cousins would sing for the family. Then we would open presents then laugh and smile all night and wait for Santa to come. Then last year, my Grandma passed away and our family hasn't been the same since. Beautiful piece of music. My older brother loved the book as a child. I saw this movie when he was in Iraq over Christmas. It brought tears to my eyes as I watched this movie. I remembered my mother sitting on his bed reading the story to both of us. The next holiday season, when it came out on dvd, we both watched it together. This movie gave me hope, hope that I'd see my brother again. Thank you Alan Silversti and Tom Hanks for this life changing movie and Soundtrack

This movie really upsets me because I was told at a very young age (And I mean a VERY young age at like 5 or 6) that Santa wasn't real. So whenever Christmas comes around I never got that excited feeling that most kids would when they were my age. To me I thought it was just another holiday that came and passed. But it's about loving, sharing, giving, and being happy that you are alive to see family members once more.

@spyrotamer Yeah it is tough. Nobody told me that Santa wasnt real until I was around 8, but I still clung to the idea of Santa Clause. You see, Santa is still real for me in a way. I know it isn't him who comes down the chimney and puts the presents underneath my tree. But I do believe in the spirit of Saint Nick. I can feel that spirit when somebody shows kindness to another. Yeah, I love this music. Unfortunately, It reminds me the time I left home and my 2 kids. It was the worst day of my life, I got separate of my ex-wife. But December of 2003 brought me The express Polar and I saw this movie with my 2 kids. I´ve blamed for that. Everytime I listen to this song I start to cry. Congrats to Alan Silvester that wrote a very sentimental and spiritual chord. Fantastic!
