We seem to forget that the United States Govenment blew up a civilian Libyan airliner in 1979-80 killing all passengers aboard. Our Government claimed it was an accident. It is very difficult to find it anywhere on the net but, those over 50 remember it well. Willy Nelson even did a sick parody on the song: "Leaving On A Jet Plane" by singing "Leaving On A Libyan Plane". I used to have it recorded. The Lockerbie incident can be traced to the Libyan incident as payback.
