  • lovely simple idea, thankyou so much.im expecting my 2nd baby and this is going to be so fabulous for me to make my own mini album pages for the babys album! xx

  • Thanks for sharing!! I made a paper bag album and was looking for an easy way to make pockets to put in the album. I'm glad I found your video..

  • i love the video but since the paper is a 5 by 7 you would just make the pocket exactlly the same but bigger for the one you already put the bow on in stuff?

  • All you are soooooo clever to keep coming up with all the new ideas. I love watching your u-tube wideos

  • Thanks so much for showing us how you did these pockets. You are right they are SO versatile! You have inspired me to get busy using this technique!

  • this is a really cute idea! thanks for sharing !! the paper you used is really cute too. what brand of paper is it?

  • Hi Paigeypie80395... thank you!! And the paper is K&Company "Black and Ivory Fusion" :-) Marla

  • Thank you very much :) and again thanks for sharing this idea i really like it and i wil have to try it!!

  • thanks for sharing! that's a great idea to make a 5x7, so you can have 4.5x6.5 mats! great idea to make your own pockets. love your faux paper bag album. so versatile. happy new year!

  • Sweetcraftychick: You're welcome! I love the idea of just keeping some pics 4x6's and still having the fun of a mini! :-)

  • Love the pocket album...

  • great video.

  • Scrappinology: You're right! If you want to allow a half inch for your binding, then you would have a full 5" for the inside of your pocket. On the 5x7 album I was showing, I didn't mind making my tag be a 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 and that allotted for the binding, and still made a perfect frame for a 4x6 picture. Thanks for watching! And I'll try to do a video of that finished album! :-)

  • Thanks for sharing this and be sure and show us your finished mini. I am wondering though, isn't it necessary to cut the width a bit bigger to end up with a 5 x 5 pocket? For example if you have a 5 x 5 pocket and then you do the binding as you did in your unfinished mini, your useable space (or pocket)would be less than 5", is that correct? Sorry I am a bit confused.
