Sadly it isn't a synthesizer, it's just an "almost" toy keyboard, but with MIDI conectors. search YAMAHA PSR-410. I just used reason to make the samplings. Thanks for your comment.

Just a Yamaha PSR-410 as a controller. I used cubase, and reason for samplings

en lo particular no me gusta usar sampler y en este caso aunque suena fantástico,no me gusta.recuerdo un trabajo hecho por el grupo carpe diem en donde se dieron el extraordinario trabajo de grabar las voces hasta de sus parientes y luego procesarlas...eso lo encuentro más interesante.

Well. There's soundfont of Ethnicolor with many samples

My Friend Alvaro (from my group M-TRACK) and i, spend long hours isolating each sample and sound effect that you can listen. And finally, there were a few samples wich i discover that were the same samples but in inverse mode... that simple. Best Wishes and good luck.

Hi Waretape! thanxs for your post. Well, i use a soundfont that exist in the net with some -but not all- the samples. This samples were made from the original tape, but isolated with some software. The rest of the samples i take it from the "Concert pour la tolerance" version were the samples volume is excesive, so is easier to isolate using "sound forge 6.0" Software.

Hi grandmoff. How did you manage to isolate this samples from ethicolour -as far as i remember -even in the cassete version- there were pads and sounds in the bachground. i am a vintage lover with a lot of analog gear -synthex, moog voyager, jupiter-6, 24-track reel to reel etc.

El Sampleo Es un trabajo tedioso: Se corta el sonido, se filtra y luego se mapea en el teclado.

Entonces sampleaste todo de Ethnicolor? que barbaro, deconstruir y reconstruir la pieza, asombroso!

Claro que sampleé todo de Ethnicolor!!.. sino, de donde voy a sacar los sonidos originales? JMJ Tambien los sampleo de alguna parte jajaja. Es la unica forma de conseguir un sonido lo mas similar posible en este tema. Muchas gracias por tu comentario. Suerte.

De hecho JMJ esos sonidos en su mayoría son propias voces de gente que colabora con él, y al final solo son una distorción, a excepción del sonido "Doo" que se puede encontrar en la mayoria de los sintetizadorez, obviamente todo eso tambien es un sampleo, y lejos de ademas de ser laborioso, lo asombroso realmente es el haber construido una obra maestra de música como esa, eso es lo que realmente lo hace increible
