It's true man, I use to drive a 1999 Mustang GT and now I drive a Toyota corolla, I would pick a ford over an import any day, the car that I drive sucks. I hate it when ricers think that import cars are better and all. It's all about what you like. We should be glad that we have cars made in America, i'ts because anti americans that our economy is where it is. If i didn't like this place I would leave to my country but I love it and I love the fact that we have great cars made here.

OH and the Mazda requires premium feel. I'd go with the CX-7 because I feel the Edge is too plain. I would however say it's very even between the Flex and CX-9.

This isn't that bad on fuel. I get 28mpg on highway but I do have a light foot. Theres a gas-electric hybrid version coming for 2009 models and a Hydrogen version for 2010 versions.

Oil is so damned expensive in Europe most people can hardly afford to drive more than once or twice a week. And the reason Europeans use diesel is because it's easier to process (less polution), more fuel efficient (less polution), and, when the engine is properly maintained, cleaner burning (less polution). keep in mind that there's no mechanical difference between this and a regular ford edge. it's mostly cosmetic ie, rims, headlights and taillights. the edge is a great looking crossover, but if it's a sport model it should have SOME difference.
