Ok I've extracted all the folders ran the .bat and confirmed that it is in my system via the command line like it said in the readme. when i go to install sp2 it still says i don't have a valid copy. am i missing something?

I am impressed that this actually works. My only question is, will Windows still work with this fix if I install Windows Genuine Advantage.  I still have WGA popping up saying it needs to be installed. So far I have not installed Windows Genuine Advantage, but I wish I could get rid of that reminder as well or install it and receive current Windows updates. Any help would be appreciated.

@johnykonta57 when it asks you for the key, minimize it, then hold the windows button (next to alt) and press 'U' for windows narrator to pop up. it will then have a hyperlink. click the hyperlink to open up an internet page. from there you can down load the software to do this. you will have no tool bar while doing this, so in the address at the top, type 'c:\' and an error will come up. when the error comes up you will have your tool bar as normal for about a minute and then you can do this.

It appears to be working... It has passed the windows validation tool and is downloading updates as I type. This is awesome... I am working on a customers pc that was severely attacked by viruses. They have a Vista Pro sticker on the Dell case, but was running XP Pro. Used a key finder, then reformatted the hard drive. Come to find out later that the key was not correct, hence the reason for using this crack. Have not rebooted yet, but it appears to be working. Thanks so much!
