  • I recon if you play something like 'strobe - deadmau5' that system would knock down ALL OF THE THINGS!

  • is that motherboard box on the top right of the screen the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3? I just bought that exact board not even a week ago lol.

  • @MicroFoxGaming Yep, it's the board in my main PC. I like it.

  • Which amps did you use, the behringer only ?

  • @TheElectricnoob The Behringer was driving the subs, and the Cerwin Vegas were on a 100W per channel amp at the time. Now they are on a QSC 1500MX at 330W per channel.

  • @Maxxarcade Oki. I build amplifiers from scratch which range from 5-100W per channel into 2/4 ohms, but i am slowly working on a monster that will push 500 watts peak into 4 ohms.

  • @TheElectricnoob It's always good to start small. The downside of doing DIY high power stuff, is that if something goes wrong, it usually ends up blowing a lot of expensive output transistors :-)

  • @Maxxarcade My remedy to that is using a weak low current power supply for first tests and when its confiremed working properly i hook up the proper psu. So far only three projects have failed, one due to faulty driver transistors and one that ran fine for almost a full day and then just spontanously died, probably due to counterfeit transistors from ebay. and the last one due to HF oscillations from touching the input.

  • Wanna see something incredible? watch quatre way through the video and then skip it to 3 quatres of the way, tell us what you see!!! xD

  • Still waiting on the full volume test with the Bass i love you song.

  • @BlueFoxTV I want to try that too, I just have to wait for the right time.

  • this is what they call a neighborhood douchebag

  • @Maxxarcade this is what I'm afraid those cerwin vega's are going to do....but to my neighbor's apartments! Scary thought that my 70's 2 way stanton Dynaphase 60 DJ headphones and headphone amp give me a realistic impression of what it was like to be in that room, had to turn the volume down, the bass was assaulting my brain! Awesome stuff.

  • @grassulo It was hard for me to stand in front of the speakers, even with the CV's only getting around 80 watts at the time. The speakers are also in the next room, facing away from this one, and are going through a 12 inch wall and a bunch of other stuff. I'd like to get a better sub amp, and rearrange everything to a better position soon.

  • Put that powerful speakers behind the window and turn the volume up to 100% and play Bass I Love You or the THX Ultimate Bass Test and look what happens to the window, will be broken in 1 minute I think :D

  • That system seems to be powerfull! Nice how the things are "dancin" :-)

  • Nice, It's like an Excursion sound off except with a house not a car, Would have been nice to see the house from the outside, windows rattling & everything!

  • Someone's trying to come out from the closet. (not in a gay way)

  • Bass test?

  • The floppy disks held up well lol

  • This setup is begging for the THX three types of bass sound test.

  • bwahahah you might wanna check your spare motherboards for hairline cracks..

  • lol nice one! hahah

  • hahaha love it!

  • @labobo I believe you mean bass, not base lol.

  • Weird music, cool effect. XD

  • I like to see what happens when you put on some Death Metal like Fleshgod Apocalypse.

  • nice set up but bass is not a sign of a good rig its how loud it can go and play cleanly you're bass is distorted so the speakers cant handle the power you're pushing though them.

my system has 1,500 watts total power but it plays very cleanly no distortion at all even at full power but i also use pro grade pa monitors for my speakers.

you would love my rig 4 Cd players 2 turn table's 2 cassette decks and one high end pro VCR use i use that for the video's i run with some of my songs.

  • Did you knock over your neighbors?

  • Would love to have something like this, but think the hole hose may fall down xD

I will blast som DUBSTEP on it.

  • I use to dust that way.

  • I heard a few bits and pieces falling down, but I couldn't work out what they were, very amusing. I know a friend told me he once turned up the stereo in his bedroom loud enough to make a picture on the wall start rattling and his brother did the same thing, his music was loud enough to cause the CD player to start skipping all over the place.

  • w00t, had to do this with my torn apart JBL L80T, haha....

  • LOL! Thats pretty good entertainment though.

  • nice! I'd love a system like that; I once turned up my hi-fi to the point where one of my speakers came crashing down off the wall, even though it was held on with 4 brackets. :-)

  • don't laugh but...

    /watch?v=8XbQsjRc7L0

won't get muted (it isn't blocked in germany.. that's gotta say something).. and the melody is catchy.. *still stuck in my head* lol

  • boom boom! ..nice!... greetings from finland:D

  • A Cool Minecraft Server: "Truly a FreeBuild Server

  • Makes me want to pull my DCMs back out of the closet. If only I had a 4 ohm amp that'd drive those beasts.

  • Those floppy disks are so persistent

  • i was almost sure that the floppys were going down

  • LOL skip the video each 20 sec and watch the stuff on the shelf cool stuff man lol.

  • Aaaaaargh! I'm having flashbacks of our previous neighbourghs.

  • this is how all music should be appreciated... except country.. ugh

  • Careful! You might shake the whole house down!

  • what did your neighbors say?

  • @SpeakerFreak95 I didn't do it long enough for them to get pissed evidently.

  • try a 10Hz - 100Hz test tone! an nice video, I need to round up all of my professional gear, hook it up and try this. might just post a vid response.

  • Try it again with Deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff. It wont get muted. Just give the artist credit in the vid title and thats it...

  • @NightWolfEditing I thought about doing that. Might try it with the Nero Remix of that song.

  • Just once I would love to hear the Kilgen with a 32' stop on the pedal ran through these :)

  • What's the name of the song playing? Just curious.

  • @PashReturns David Guetta/Snoop Dogg - Sweat

  • Press 1 then 9 during the video. The box migration...

  • @Erdie5 LOL, stuff moved that I didn't even notice at normal speed.

  • only 5 objects fell but the floppys stayed up like a boss

  • LOL...the box marked "fragile" was a nice touch, whether intentional or not. I really thought sure those floppies (3.5" or 5.25" ?) would come down!

  • @uxwbill Ya, They were really teetering on the edge towards the end. I should have used something with deeper bass haha.

  • lol you used the non-sexual version of this song

I had to put lips on all my shelves so stuff would stay on :P I use my system like all day and i was sick of the crap falling from my two Yorkville Elite 18's

  • @poopooGarret I eventually want to put RCF L18P400's in these boxes to replace the L18P200's, and get a QSC RMX4050 or similar to power them. I hate having limits LOL.

  • @Maxxarcade I dont know whats in mine :P never opened them.. I have a 1200 watt Peavey amp on them now and it kills the house, and I know the guy I bought them from was using a 3000 watt Yorkville on them, I did notice brand name amps work allot better then... well the one one your using right now, there stuff is bullshit (if you have ever cracked a good amp open you would notice) also my peavey amp is over 85 pounds... peavey aint the best sound quality wise but damn they sure work

  • @poopooGarret Ya, from what I have read on the amp I have, it is rated 500W per channel into 8 ohms, and only about 350W clean. One of my subs has an older style frame, and bottoms out at high power before the other one does. I can also hear the amp starting to top out around the same time.

I want to make this system loud enough that my clothes blow in the breeze from 20 feet away. Might take me a while, but I'll go for it haha.

  • Fun video! I think I'll try the same test w/ my new Lepai and Kinter 500-700w "mini" amps...OK, maybe not.

  • A fine example of percussive conduction through walls. Damn floppy box never made it off the shelf....LOL!

  • head over to down4sound forum and grab some tunes from there, i watch alot of car audio channels, and alot of the songs played are from dj's that use that website, enjoy :)

  • That sounds like the type of music that you would hear at my job.

  • If the audio ever gets muted on this video, just re-title it "Poltergeist in my basement" :P

    BTW, fun video

  • maybe some less gay music next time.

  • @hitachi088 Haha ya, kinda hard to find stuff that doesn't get muted though. I should also have used sometrhing with bass lower than 50 Hz, since these subs are best between 27 and 40 Hz.

  • @Maxxarcade why not just play some straight tones? :D

  • @Maxxarcade Try using DJ Billy-E - Beats 4 my van or Boston Acoustics - Woofer Cooker. It should go hard on those high powered commercial subwooofer!

  • @222Panther222 OMG I think those would be crazy. I just tried them at really low volume and everything was still vibrating.

  • Me too. Be careful when using your rig in ballrooms with chandeliers. :D

  • I stared at the floppys the whole time :D
