VERY VERY GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!BEAUTIFUL,...BELLISSIMAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!BRAVISSIMOOOO,...with all my hearth, thankn you!!tommy wuold be very pruod of you,...you layed Angelina,..not only with the right tecnique,..but with the right mood,.....
I was reading about your Maton guitar...never heard of them...it looks like the guitars that Tommy Emmanuel plays...it that right? Nice job by the way.
Tommy E. does play Maton guitars. Maton has a Tommy Emmanuel model. Pricey, but, gorgeous sounding finger style guitar. Check out the Taylor 414 if you're looking for something that costs less and sounds somewhat comparable.
Nice work Mark...One observation, if I may...The cuts on the camera moves are a bit distracting to the eye. Static camera with disolves to inserts instead of shrinks and and quick zooms are much more effctive and less distracting. Great job on the song, you really do it justice.
I agree totally on your observation. I did this video when I was still trying to learn the ins and outs of video editing. I'm no expert now. However, I've been getting some coaching from other You Tubers who are more savy than I. Thanks for your comment.
Thanks much for the info. Another question. I am looking at a Maton and wondered if you had any experience with the new 808 with the Ampic setup? Have you any experience with the TE2 series cutaway? The 808 you are playing is very nice. How is the action? (I have a Martin HD28).
I use a video editing program called Sony Vegas. It is inexpensive and easy to operate. I import the audio from Pro Tools to the editing program. Next, I import the video from my computer (after downloading it from the camera). There is an audio track and video track and you just line them up. If you use more than one camera angle, you import that video also and it goes on it's own track. You can cut and splice the videos after you have them lined up with the audio.
Great cover Mark! I've never said it, but your Martin guitar is awesome! Which model is it exactly? Anyway, always nice to watch your vis! Cheers from France.
Great job Mark! I would love to learn that flat-pick finger-picking hybrid that TE does on this one! Excellent video editing and sound quality, by the way. How do you like Sony Vegas? I've been using Roxio. Thanks for the video! 5***** -Derek
Killer job Mark on a technically tough "Tommy Tune",..I haven't gotten it that quick on the tempo yet,...but getting closer. Did you ever check out Scott Tsai's instructional vids on YT?,....they're the best,..the kid has Tommy nailed,...and he got to play with him backstage in Elizabethtown, KY I think during the Tommy Fest,..that had to be as good as it gets! Keep pickin' em pretty,...Tim, Hurricane Alley(FL)
Did you come to the Gulf Coast?,...there's some great golf courses around here(Destin),...Kelly Plantation is beautiful,...Fred Couples design.
There's scads more great tracts of course, but since you're the director of golf,..playing golf may be the last thing you want to do on your vacation. Still think the Gulf Coast has the nicest beaches in the country,...tourqoise blue water and sugar white sands,...I'll take it! :~)
I flew into Ft. Lauderdale for the BCS Championship game. We stayed on University Drive about eight miles from the airport. Palm trees and green grass everywhere.
Don't sell yourself short. You have some mad skills when it comes to playing the six string. It boils down to desire. After seeing Tommy live for the first time I became a hopeless convert.
good job. really good job!!!

The Sony Vegas works pretty good. I'm still learning the video editing ropes. The more I mess with it the better the program gets (ha, ha).
Roxio must be a good program. Your videos are really good.
