I was reading about your Maton guitar...never heard of them...it looks like the guitars that Tommy Emmanuel plays...it that right? Nice job by the way.

Tommy E. does play Maton guitars. Maton has a Tommy Emmanuel model. Pricey, but, gorgeous sounding finger style guitar. Check out the Taylor 414 if you're looking for something that costs less and sounds somewhat comparable.

Nice work Mark...One observation, if I may...The cuts on the camera moves are a bit distracting to the eye. Static camera with disolves to inserts instead of shrinks and and quick zooms are much more effctive and less distracting. Great job on the song, you really do it justice.

I agree totally on your observation. I did this video when I was still trying to learn the ins and outs of video editing. I'm no expert now. However, I've been getting some coaching from other You Tubers who are more savy than I. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks much for the info. Another question. I am looking at a Maton and wondered if you had any experience with the new 808 with the Ampic setup? Have you any experience with the TE2 series cutaway? The 808 you are playing is very nice. How is the action? (I have a Martin HD28).

Really nice playing!. I am running Logic 9 with MK3 and have a video camera. How do you get your video to sync up with your sound?

I use a video editing program called Sony Vegas. It is inexpensive and easy to operate. I import the audio from Pro Tools to the editing program. Next, I import the video from my computer (after downloading it from the camera). There is an audio track and video track and you just line them up. If you use more than one camera angle, you import that video also and it goes on it's own track. You can cut and splice the videos after you have them lined up with the audio.

The Sony Vegas works pretty good. I'm still learning the video editing ropes. The more I mess with it the better the program gets (ha, ha).

Did you come to the Gulf Coast?,...there's some great golf courses around here(Destin),...Kelly Plantation is beautiful,...Fred Couples design.

There's scads more great tracts of course, but since you're the director of golf,..playing golf may be the last thing you want to do on your vacation. Still think the Gulf Coast has the nicest beaches in the country,...tourqoise blue water and sugar white sands,...I'll take it! :~)
