that door is on an adjacent halway to where the wish granter is. its up a ladder, this worked perfect for me on stalker complete 2009.. i was going mad, i knew i had to go through that door but it was locked by a code!! worked a charm thanks!

Oh incase nobody knows, I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Also, the decoder isn't that hard to find really, just follow the missions properly. That being said I played the game through the first time not even knowing about it, when I did find out I HAD to play the game through again, and playing that extra 30 minutes gameplay was awesome. The "proper" ending is the best, I got the "rich guy" ending first cos I'm like that.

But how do you get back through the door coming from the opposite direction? I used this trick to get into the NPP, but after completing the sequence of teleports and killing the controller, I can't use the same trick to open the door again from the other side and I am stuck in the NPP.

Ok i tested it, its very easy with the gauss, but it works with the AK74 too, its just a bit harder, and for those people who got to much freetime and want to do it because its not easy. It also works great with the Dragunov SVD(I think even better than the gauss)

Is that another door than the other Metal doors? Because i used the same trick at the door of the scientists in Jantar. They didnt let me in because i joined the freedom before, and they are working together with the dutys. But i just used my AK47 to open it, so are you sure you can only do that with the Gauss rifle?

I couldn't find the doctor since the mission glitched and the objective pointer lead me to nothing. I got all the way to the wish granter and figured that was pretty much it. I saw the other endings on youtube, and was about to put the game away, uninstall etc. and I figured, hell, I'll give this a go.

Then I found what was probably the best damn mission in the entire game, and I would have completely missed it!

After completing X16 goto the Cordon and talk to Guide. He'll then tell you to meet Doc in Strelok's Hideout (Agpronom Underground). Once there he'll give you a key to a stash in Pripyat.

Goto Pripyat, find the room and get the decodor. Continue as normal till you reach the part of the Power Plant where the corridoors split off. The left side leads to the Monolith. Follow the right path and find a ladder. At the top is the door you use the decoder on.

btw. I never saw the true ending in game:( Cus the only time i passed the game with the true ending was only with the oblivion lost mod, and there this script is just deleted and replaced with a boring extra map that seemingly leads to nowhere.

Exoskeleton suit is in a box in Chernobyl power plant. U have to go find s ladder and go downstair. There is a room with a exoskeleton suit. it isnt difficult to find it.

I just wanted to thank you for recording this video - without it I would have missed the "true" ending despite the fact that I visited the hotel room in Pripyat and finished the Guide quest before that (I simply didn't spot the decoder in the room).
