My thought about the GRD helmet is: IF they ever make a Halo 4 beta maybe they'll make it an unlockable armour though waypoints like they did with the armour you unluck trough achievements.

And about the community giving content my question is, do you consider Roosterteeth a community or a company, to my opinion they're both but you were talking about the community giving content so i don't know how you thinks about company's like roosterteeth giving content.

marathon is related to GRD other wise i think it was on the beta dLC disk for the beta of the new maps they released in 2010! other then that we will never see it until it is released legitly!

@devilmaycrie4 what I'm talking beta is the game is not coded on the same Cd/disc or w/e you wanna call it but its separate to protect hidden information form ideas they were going to add to the game! Hackers are good at finding out these secrets. Hinting halo 3 Hyabusa!

not saying it was my favorite of the series, but i had the most fun playing halo 2. hours of fun i got from playing it on live. superjumps, dual wielding, and most memorable for me, playing zombies with a bunch of other friends before it was ever a gametype. you would manually switch teams if you got killed. such great times! gonna miss em :(, haven't had time lately to keep up with video games for about 2 years now due to school, bills to pay, and work :'(

I think Bungie was awesome with the way it interacted with the commuity. Humpdays, its unwavering support of Red v Blue. Its support of community forged maps that were included in special matchmaking events. Recon. Bungie.net and urk were fantastic and fun yet informative. I think 343 is coasting off what Bugnie did and had in place for years. 343 and its dependance on waypoint is a bit sterile in my opinion. 343 suppor you and i apprecatie that you have to be onsdie, but i miss Bungie :(

Urk is the best Community Manager. The Weekly Updates on Bungie were the greatest things ever, and I litterally would refresh the page ever 5 seconds on Friday until it popped up to read what Urk had wrote, when BS Angel on the other hand, just doesn't have the same effect for almost everyone. I honestly forget about the Bulletin until Thursday afternoon and check it once I get home. I don't know why, but Urk has the magic touch with the community.

The biggest stuff I am hoping for in Halo 4 is:

Sandbox Campaign unlockable. Yeah, something like New Alexandria and a few other points in Reach almost had this to the letter.

Halo 4 to have expanded on community, Waypoint, and stuff like Atlas to in game functions. I expect this to get included in the menu or in some part of the gameplay as a terminal thingy.

Like you said stuff that makes gamers win stuff... Bigger and better than Recon too!

Personally, I think that the best community thing that was ever done was the 'I love bees' ARG. I don't think anything has even come close to building the same amount of hype as that did, aside from maybe the one Valve did for Portal 2. I still maintain it's one of the key reasons that Halo 2 exploded the way it did.

As you said about recon, it gave the community passion. I'd love to see a return of a Vidmaster system, it's the reason I joined the community in the first place - need dem cheeves.

Also I have ATLAS and it is very good, but I don't do well with glancing away from my screen and taking my hand off my controller to do stuff. Otherwise it is epic. The only change that I would have is that you could have voice commands so you wouldn't have to move away. Plus the only way I'm comfortable looking away from my screen is if my iPad is up right beside or below my tv. Otherwise ATLAS Is great.

About the recon thing.....u know the teddy bears on the anniversary maps...they had pictures of somebody wearing that on defiant map packs screenshots. That's what I think they will do. Haunted helmet was cooler, but recons way of doing it was better. I hope they use that.
