  • nice to hear this. got one near my house that was set off on new years

  • @tearn9090 The same one?

  • nice sounding

  • You can limit air intake and therefore sound output.

Would be nice to see down into the rotor.

  • @robertgift The rotors are combined, do both 10/12 are fused together. Having some difficulty getting the rotor off the motor because I can't find a puller that will attach to it because its made in a weird way.

  • @wiifire8 Thank you. Be carefull with your puller to not warp or damage the rotors. Always concerned thathey may destruct.

Does more air get pushed to the bottom rotor by incoming air momentum?

  • Don't disturb the Nieghbors! lol

  • Where do you get most of your sirens at? Ive been thinking to start collecting them.

  • Why does it have a funny spinning thing in it?

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 thats the chopper which chops aire between the stator (the part that doesnt move

  • im guessing same port ratio as a 2t22

  • What is that yellow stator off to the side for? STH-10 or something like that? (assuming the pole mount on the other side goes with it.)

  • Anyone hear buzzing noise?

That was the motor its running on AC

  • Run it at full speed for one blast, I WOULD :-)

  • Could you run it full up in your garage on test day? And what did you use to slow it down?

  • I bet one blast at full power wouldn't hurt. As long as it's not a structured signal, I doubt you'd cause any problems. Now, setting it off in attack or alert would be a bad idea, though.

  • Sweet video. Couldn't you run it at full power on test day?

  • What kind of work? Bearings?

  • sounds exactly like a 2t22, same port radio

  • When you gonna let er' rip full power?

How many horsepower is this beast?

  • @Blue10AEMia I would love to test full power but I live in a city with tightly packed homes for mile around; to risky. It's 3 HP

  • @wiifire8

I say we take up a collection on the airraidsirens(.)com forum for him to set this thing off one blast at full speed, to cover the cost in the very unlikely scenario that he would get a ticket for it. If he doesn't get cited, the money would either be redistributed to the donors, or put to a good cause.

  • @cauberallies That sounds awesome! After this test the motor died and I need to take it into the shop. The siren now is completely disassembled and I am planning on restoring it and putting it on my garage (if it can take the weight). That’s the plan and I don't know how long it will take to be done.

  • @wiifire8 I would suggest closing your garage door to muffle the sound, and simply put on some ear protection. That way it wouldn't be too loud.

  • nice can't wait to hear full power

whats the siren behind the CLM?

  • CLM made omni's too?

  • I can see the other CLM's top horn, and the STH-10 mounting bracket and stator, but what is that *16/16* port siren behind the CLM omni?

  • @Federal500T Looks like an old sterling

  • Love it! that omni CLM has that true, full 10/12 port siren sound!

  • How many sirens do you currently own?

  • @Siren1000T1 6 full size and some smaller ones

  • Sounds awesome! I'd love to hear it fully powered though.
