i love this song but it would've been better with the OBC,but hey, what can you do. i can't say that i rate Eden Espinosa as Maureen, i mean that line at the end just didn't sound right but thats my personal preference. Idina will always be the best Maureen ever!!!

I thought it was really sad that they cut this song from the movie. This is absolutely the best part of the whole stage production, in my opinion, but I suppose that's because I'm a lover of the oldschool London and Broadway, and this is like 'one day more' in Les Mis; it's that wonderful but chaotic song that incorporates the whole cast in a single musically complex number that really shows the character of the entire play.

I like that it's not the OBC, because it's kind of fun to see how other people interperet the material. Also, it's more alive if you don't get stuck feeling that Maureen HAS to be Adina and so on. Although I do love the OBC best of course! (except Joanne. I like Tracy Thoms best)

i like what they did with the performance of "Christmas bells in the broadway movie" because in the original musical (with Adam Pascal) they just use the audience as the props and the whole number is cutdown for like 3 minutes when its like 5 or 6...(they do a much much better job here)

That's the weirdest thing i heard, they don't have to look like the originals to be just as good. And actually in my opinion Will's voice is slightly smoother than Adam's, that doesn't mean he sounds better just different but they're both great IMO.

Does anyone else wish that they didn't use all the crazy camera work? I think I would prefer them to have just set up a camera and film the entire stage the entire time. I mean, I guess both ways have their ups and downs... but all the zooming in and out is making me dizzy. And it prevents you from getting a feel for the stage and the movement on stage of the characters.

I hope Chris Columbus saw this film. I can't believe Columbus thought this wouldn't work on film. It clearly works here! I mean I understand the song Contact is hard to translate to film, but here it is just people singing on the city streets. Alternating shots between different events would have worked fine IMO. It's a shame.
