The reason he is not as good as everyone thought in his first year was because he has to transition from being on the Ohio state system (that sucks by the way) to an actual good sytem. And getting good numbers at the combine does not mean shit on the field. He also needs to step it up, their are no easy schedules like the one Ohio state gets every year. Ohio state is the most overrated team in NCAA football.

Here's my take on Vernon Gholston (as an Ohio State fan yes). He probably isn't suited to be a 3-4 OLB...but if you put him at DE like he was in college and let him rush the passer he would be very disruptive. He's a little undersized but he's extremely strong. I don't think he should be labeled a bust yet
