Yup, this is where it's at.
A nondualist who goes by the pseudonym Zil Chezero also talks about exactly this in his book "Dutch Treat". He mentions that the enlightened perspective basicly consists of not believing anything. Not even the belief that one does not believe anything. And in turn, not even the belief that one believes that one does not believe that one believes anything etc..
..into infinity!
This will enable one to cut through the trap of concept based dualism very effectively.

Good thoughts, i think the reason i remain a christian is because I seek to improve the self rather than to negatve it, that is to become full and enlightened rather than irradicated.

The self you seek to improve, is just a thought/concept/idea. If you're following Jesus ...you are on a path to Oneness with God. Your own teacher promotes this idea:
John 17:11 ....."so that they can be one, just as we are One" Its all over the Gospel of Thomas (coincidentally the dogmatic fundamentalists hid and banned because the connections to Tao, Zen, Nonduality.
Check out Meister Eckhart.
Also he point of Xtianity = to be like Christ, Selfless, in Oneness w God!!!
