@christop651 She doesn't make poor music. She is a true artist, singer, writer, pianist, and overall musician. She's not like Katy Perry, Rihanna, or Ke$ha. She makes great music and she just happen to be born in the wrong decade because the other so-called artists makes her look bad because she is the best artist of her generation. @christop651 I am a pianist and I love Alicia Keys. How that means I don't love music if I think this is beautiful because it is. You have to understand that she is not a classical singer, she is an R&B-soul singer, so she has that raw sound. This is a different version, maybe classical singers would sound better singing this, but this is beautiful to me. Beauty is subjective, what may not be beautiful to you can be beautiful to me. No one can deny that she has a breath-taking beautiful tone.

@ThePianoguy89 i disagree, becuz Beyonce is an R&B/Pop singer but she was able to sing this same arrangement of Ave Maria effortlessly many times live. so u dont have to be a classical singer to perform this song well.

@cchllover Beyonce had classical training in opera, Alicia did not. There is nothing wrong with this version, she was on key and in tune. This may not be everyone's signature style because it does not have the typical classical sound, it's Alicia's signature soulful sound.

@cchllover She pronounced the words pretty well to me and she's not used to singing in other languages as well. Her voice was crisp as well and I love the use of vibrato in her belts.

What in the name of all that is holy is this? What a disaster. There are certain songs that should not have a 'rendition': the National Anthem, Take Me Out To The Ballgame, and Ave Maria.
