OMG my friend has one named Tito, and he's like a little bowling ball, zooming around everywhere. I always sit in the floor when I go over there, so he will come running and pounce right on me and then I grab him and hug him and he's all squirmin and squigglin' lol. People are always singing "Bat Dog" because of him hehehe.

do they suffer from health problems? I have an English Bull Terrier, never had any problems other than the odd dose of cystitis. She's still only 7 so lots of years left in her yet, but maybe one day I'd like a Frenchie.

@rgbmode thank you :) They are prone to spine problems and breathing problems. But my frenchie is athletic and active, plus his breathing problem isn't bad at all. Depends on the parents, some are and some aren't. They are great dogs for sure though.

@rgbmode I have a Frenchton, a Boston Terrier?French Bulldog mix. A lot of veterinarians say "Hybrid Vigor". Means mixes are healthier than pure breeds and she is super cute and amazing! She also doesn't snore and can hike and swim! She was also about a grand versus being over 2, so that for me was also a bonus. She is sooo sweet, loves all animals and people, she has her what I call "Frenchie Moments" where she spazzes out and attacks the pug though. But overall best dog ever! She trains well 2

@vnesaa any dog is a good first dog :) each dog needs the same nutrition, water supply, entertainment, love, attention. NEVER GIVE YOUR DOG IAMS. :) look up online safe dog foods. Especially for frenchies, maybe they have a food for them. Frenchies are medium sized, so i'd get food that has medium sized dogs on it or something, just some food are unsafe.

@vnesaa they are VERY expensive to buy and to keep healthy. NO. Frenchies are NOT good first dogs.
