I grew up watching womens college basketball, and USA basketball. I'm a huge Lisa Leslie fan. She's one of the few women still playing that I used to watch in college and USA basketball. The WNBA used to be too slow for me. I just don't think they gave the ladies their best.

But this years rookie class is one of the best in college history. I mean we just had 4 All-Americans lead their teams in the final four. When was the last time that happened? So I knew it was gonna be good for the league.

I'd stop watching the WNBA for years because I wasn't that interested, until Candace Parker and Candice Wiggins entered. Now I watch the games, and it's exciting to me. They've taken the game to the next level. Ace is dunking in games, Ice is leading the rookies in points. The game is great.

As a man I gotta agree. I was an athlete in high school and college (track and basketball). At no point have I ever felt a need to put down women basketball players. Most of the time, when I see guys dissin' these ladies, they more than likely are guys who were never athletes or, couldn't play with these women anyway.
